I am sad he's gone, but glad I have my whole bureau back again. The tank was sitting on top of it. And I no longer have to clean the tank, or the filter, or feed it, etc...We only had fish because a ditzy neighbor about 7 years ago, moved out and left the tank just sitting there with fish in it..unplugged, no food, no lights, nothing. The guy who came to clean the house out, came to me with it and asked me to take care of it. So I did,,that was a LONG time ago. We since added more fish, who all died, and Oscar was the one remaining fish.
That was nice of you to take on the fish, Lynn! I would love to have a big fish tank, but the one time we had a small one it didn’t go too well. (We used to call it Boston Harbor!) I’d have to hire a service to care for it, lol. I don’t really have a spot for one, either. There is one in a restaurant we go to that I admire all the time.Good sunny Saturday morning all. Going to 60 today, 75 tomorrow and Monday with rain on Monday. Then back to 48 the rest of the week. Going to get my seeds started this weekend, so I can hopefully have the garden ready by Memorial Day or a week earlier.
Our one remaining fish went to the big pond in the sky overnite. Usually its right by the front of the tank, watching me for food..this morning I found him upside down on the bottom of the tankI am sad he's gone, but glad I have my whole bureau back again. Already cleaned up from the fish tank, stripped and remade the bed, did dishes, and fixed Mr L's breakfast. Going to sit and relax for awhile..until it's warmed up enough outside to go walk around
Have a nice morning all

Carol posted those yummy looking brownies! I hope you do enjoy some yourself

Sorry to hear that...that was so nice of you to keep him. We had a goldfish DD won at the fair for YEARS. Over the years, we had others with him in the tank and they all would eventually die, but that little guy(Goalie was his name...lol) just kept swimming. LoL That thing was so huge when it died, he seriously looked like a koi fish. We had to bury him in the backyard. Our one remaining fish went to the big pond in the sky overnite.

DD and I constantly send funny animal videos back and forth to each other on Instagram.Animal videos usually make my day. I can get lost in Reels for a while.
Good Morning. It is rainy, a bit foggy, and 36 degrees. It is going up to the upper 50s today. The ground around here is turning to mud as the snow melts and the rain hits it.
Have a good Sunday.

Snowysmom, praise God extra for a positive grandkid memory at the house today. I'm truly so thankful my friend you got to enjoy that experience. What a kind friend, too. I love it! God did not want you to miss His extra Grace that He, of course forever, and Chris as well were both extra with you in that moment!
What a wonderful share, Carol! I am so humbly thankful to the good Lord that Covid is indeed getting so much better and that you got to experience church as it ought to be. Hooray always for grandkid time, too. What is the name of the devotional? I would appreciate being able to look into it. Thank you, my friend. It is one of the two that Mary Catherine mentioned in her sermon. Good Enough - 40ish Devotionals for a Life of Imperfection by Kate Bowler. What is the name of the devotional?
