Living on the Eastern Shore of MD, I'm fortunate to - at times- be in the midst of some serious history. A few years ago a new Harriet Tubman center was built in the Cambridge, MD area and it's a wonderful place to visit, very thought provoking. I first visited it a few years ago, and it's both sobering and inspiring.
We need to get there.
Anyway, I had read on various local news sites that these ladies were undertaking this walk, and yesterday on my way home from an appointment I passed them walking in Northern MD, almost to DE. It was a pretty cool and unexpected sight!
I have read about that too.
We've been fighting our yard/lawn. The grass has been growing like crazy and is super clumpy no matter when/how often or what we mow it with. So we are at the point of mowing twice a week, BUT it has had the desired effect and we are getting a handle on it. My husband also has a lawn sweeper - yeah, he's starting to morph into "that guy" as he nears 50

haha!
We have heavy clumpy grass too, and a lawn sweeper, but nowhere to dump the grass and not going to bag it.
Sauteed chicken with spinach and roasted cherry tomatoes for dinner this evening - OR grilled chicken over salad. Either way, I took some chicken out of the freezer. I'm determined to get back on a proper dinner schedule now that we are headed into the second week of September.
I have chicken, spinach, and cherry tomatoes. I may need to google a recipe. Sounds good.
