Easiest just to say...ditto!Admittedly, I can take or leave Star Wars movies. I've seen a few of them here & there, but I don't go out of my way to watch them.
Question of the day: 5/4: May the 4th be with you...are you a star wars fan? Have a favorite movie?
So I have seen all the movies and can even sort of speak about the movies but not really. I do understand what's going on though!
My Matt big fan of the movies and we have lot Star Wars goodies like the potato heads and of course Darth Mickey helmet.

I think I saw the original but that is all. Not all that interested.Question of the day: 5/4: May the 4th be with you...are you a star wars fan? Have a favorite movie?

It has indeed been a bit better today. It wasn't quite as hot - they said that it hit 81 degrees in our area yesterday! It was breezy and sunny up until about 1 p.m. Josh and I read books, had a picnic lunch, took a walk, and watched some Facebook Live presentations. He was much more agreeable today, but I have to admit that around 4 p.m., I feel "talked out." He just never stops talking. Even watching the FB Live videos, he continues to talk through them. I've sometimes asked him if he likes the sound of his voice and he says yes
Star Wars was the very first movie I ever saw in a theatre. The first one (or fourth one, depending on how you look at it). I wasn't yet 3 years old when it came out but I've been a fan since then. I'm a total sci-fi/fantasy junkie...back when Star Wars came out, I was already watching things like Star Trek (in syndication), Battlestar Gallactica, and Buck Rogers on TV. I discovered the Twilight Zone soon after that, and then I found Doctor Who on our PBS station when I was in 3rd grade.
Luckily I married a man who loves it all as much as I do. One of the best concerts we ever attended was "Star Wars Live" at the casino - Anthony Daniels hosted! We go with DH's entire family to see John Williams conduct "Film Night at Tanglewood" every year, wearing our Star Wars t-shirts and playing with our mini light sabers. And now we've turned our kid to the Dark Side...

Also posting this because it's just cool to watch and hear:
Anyway, on my Kindle app right now is: The Roman Empire and the Silk Routes, Funny You Dont Look Autistic, S*it My Dad Says, Kingdom Keepers, The Day the World Came to Town, The Club King, Bloodsworth (the true story of the first death row inmate exonerated by DNA evidence), Evidence of Love, Bitter Blood, Cut and Run and the Handmaid's Tale. As you can see I tend towards non Fiction. I'm not terribly excited for any of these so if anyone has read something and can tell me to jump right in or pass, I'd appreciate it.

We were supposed to be in WDW yesterday, today and through the week!![]()
That stinks, @bobbiwoz . We were lucky we made it. We did have to come home five days early. If I hadn't had the few days we got I'd be going pretty crazy right now after the year I'd had caring of my mother at home, then going into this Covid mess, etc.
My neighbors have a huge lilac bush on the side by our house. It smells AMAZING. If you’re out in our yard, the breeze brings the fragrance over. A super simple thing, that I have no control over, but it’s awesome.
