I have my mother’s “Betty Crocker Cooky Book” as well. I love to see her handwriting next to certain recipes. It brings back such nice memories. I will have to look up the snickerdoodle recipe. This is the book where I use the Russian tea cookies recipe. The banana oatmeal cookies are a favorite too from this book.As an aside, I will always associate snickerdoodle cookies with Christmas...my grandfather (with whom I grew up) ALWAYS had to have homemade snickerdoodles for Christmas. My mom still has the original "Betty Crocker Cooky Book" with the recipe.
Question of the day 4/12: Cookies? Yeah/Nay? What flavor?
I was so excited that Hilton released the official Doubletree cookie recipe this week. I LOVE those cookies. If you aren’t aware, you are allowed to go to the front desk and ask for one whenever you like, you aren’t just limited to check in. Sometimes I have gone to the desk every day to get a cookie . . .
Unfortunately I don’t have the ingredients on hand to make them and the baking aisle at the store is empty, but one day I will make them!
Today's movie is Four Weddings and a Funeral
What Dan said.
I learned this weekend that if you text 'pew pew' to someone with an iPhone, you both get a laser show.
I guess it's old news, but I learned it only a couple days ago.![]()
