Quarantine and chill and kindness chatty clubhouse: Jump in and join the conversation! All is welcome!

I love seeing the baking class photos @Meriweather . 🧁

Like @flyingdumbo127 I'll be watching for pumpkin items mostly from home. It's a great idea and I look forward to participating.

It's an infusion day, so I'll be driving back into town to pick up hubs in a little bit.

Dinner is salmon and green beans.

Gratitudes
Online church
Face timing with grandkids
The kind team that works together to keep hubs doing well.

Not sure why these are turned sideways :(

I've been fighting the same battle. So far, I think it's that anything I take/post with my iPhone or iPad "wants" to show up as horizontal - so if I take the picture with the device turned sideways, it shows up correctly, and if I take it with the device held vertically, it flips the picture.

To get the one I posted above to work, I turned my phone sideways while viewing the picture, screen-shotted it, trimmed the ends, and posted the screenshot.

I edited it on my laptop and had it facing the right way and then when I posted, it flipped back the other way.
They were taking on my phone and DD's phone, but not iPhones.
Next week I will try and camera and see if that works better

Carol had a zoom court hearing with her ex today. Results were good for her so I'm pleased.

James (DS) came over tonight with his girlfriend, Chelsea. It was good to see them both.

Carol cooked dinner tonight. She had two different salmon packs that she wanted to try so we taste tested Garlic & Pepper salmon and Steakhouse salmon. I'm not big on garlic but #1 was okay. Steakhouse was better, had a little more heat than I like. Not sure that she will get them again. We also had Uncle Ben's Garlic & Butter Rice and Uncle Ben's Broccoli Cheese Rice plus steamed broccoli. The bad thing about salmon, I am hungry a couple of hours later.

Here are directions for some seasonal fun, calling it Chill and Kindness Fall Finds. 🍁🐿🍂

All are welcome to participate.

Keeping it simple seeing as we are still in a pandemic, but we’re limited only by our imaginations, and maybe some of the categories can get us out and about a bit or exploring! The more you look around, the more you see. We have already had some good examples!

So instructions are simple, just post a photograph of whatever you find related to Fall.

These will be the basic categories, but aren’t limited to: Animals, Clothing, Food, Home, Outdoors, Local/Regional, Shopping, Funny, etc.

Bonus kudos if what you post is Personal to You, is Regional or From Your Location, or Relates to Username (yours or someone else’s) or Poster (something you know about someone else). Explain in your post.

Some ideas:

Accessories (jewelry, bags, hats)
Advertisements
Antiques
Baked goods and decorating
Beverages
Candy
Chalk drawings
Colors of Fall
Commercials
Corn or cornstalks
Fall home or outdoor decor
Flags
Flowers or arrangements
Food
Disney! (Of course)
Dress up/Costumes
Ghostly/Haunted/Spooky
Historic monuments in your area
Fall Sports (if there are any)
Festivals
Foliage/Leaves
Food containers or labels
Frankenstein or other creatures
Graveyard/Famous grave
Memes related to Fall
Moon
Scarecrows
Scary house or building
Back to School
Squirrels or other critters
Turkeys
What scares me!
Wildlife
Wreaths
Uniforms or other clothing

That should give us enough to start. Remember these are just suggestions, use your imagination! @lovemygoofy idk if you want to add a quick reference to this post # to thread title so people can easily find directions?

Let’s have fun! Bring on the photos! :hmghost:

For those of you who do like pumpkin, my stepdaughter sent me this recipe yesterday. I have no clue why, as she knows I don't like pumpkin anything, but some of you might! 🎃

Impossible Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes

1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup evaporated milk
2/3 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 12 cup muffin tin with silicone liners, foil liners sprayed with cooking spray or just spray the cups with cooking spray. Either of these three methods will make it easy to take the cupcake out after it’s cooked. Paper liners make it difficult to remove the cupcakes.
Mix the pumpkin, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and milk. Add the flour, pumpkin spice, salt, baking powder and baking soda to the mixture. Fill each muffin cup with 1/2 cup of the mixture. Bake for twenty minutes and let cool for twenty minutes. Remove cupcakes from pan and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle more pumpkin pie spice on top and serve. Makes 12 cupcakes.

Curious to know what your round about ages are.
My parents are in their 70's and neither have tattoos and while not exactly thrilled that their 3 kids and 2 of their grand kids have tattoos but also not exactly anti tattoo.
In fact they like some of our tattoos.
We also get them in places that we can easily cover and you wouldn't even know we have them if we passed you on the street.
Yum! I'll have to give those a try!

I like making these cookies. I sandwich the cream cheese between two of them, so they come out like a whoopie pie!

Since I don't like pumpkin, would you pretty please make me some chocolate whoopie pies, lol!
