Good morning. Love the duck video. What a smart Mama duck.

It is cold and dreary today. More rain coming in. I have been out to get gas in the car, stopped a Dunkin for a coffee treat, and took a walk. I have cleaned the bathrooms and had breakfast. Next up may be Kohls. I am thinking of visiting a community center that I drive by each day that has various programs and food offerings during the week. On Saturday it is scones. I may just stop in just to look around and see what it is like. I have been meaning to but just have not mustered up the courage to do so. Last night Kenny's GF was out with friends so he and I went to dinner. It was a nice diversion.

Have a good day.

Good morning. everyone. Moving slow this morning. Raining and only 45 today. High winds moving in again either tomorrow or Monday. Mother Nature just keeps throwing curveballs with the weather.

If your state still does it, don't forget to change the clocks ahead this weekend.

Have a good day.

Hug, Snowysmom. I am thankful you enjoyed a treat. The community center sounds lovely! Prayers should you feel God's call to check it out, that you do :)

Hug, Lynn, you just be cozy and have a relaxing day!

I generally hate the changing back and forth, but I'm actually looking forward to this one. - The cats have been getting me up at 4:30 the last couple of days. They'll probably still do it...but at least it will be called 5:30 now. :rotfl2:

Prayers, your cats just might surprise you one morning dear PollyannaMom by sleeping in!

Prayers all of you lovely friends are enjoying a nice Saturday. Dad and I are having a relaxing one. We did get a surprise phone call from the medical supply store. The recliner chair is now officially ours to keep. The woman we spoke with from the company said we could rent the chair for one more month for $240 or keep the chair forever for $300. That was a no-brainer. We can always God willing sell the chair ourselves one day and/or donate it. We did get a very clear email receipt that states this was a final sale, and we will owe the company nothing further. Good deal all-around!

Have a great rest of the afternoon everyone always with love.

Sweet Dreams thread save! Meant to say yesterday that God-willing I do still truly believe I will get to meet one of dear you in person this year. That would certainly be a blessing :)

@flyingdumbo127 Great news about the chair. I am glad you can keep it. I hope you are able to get to the podiatrist soon.

@PollyannaMom I hope the cats will get up an hour later now. Hopefully their clocks won't change too!

Another dreary day with rain. I went to the basement and took my obligatory pic of the window water. I have actually set up a google album with all the pictures of issues with the condo. I can just take out my phone and do a pic show for the builder or whoever shows up to look at the basement if anyone ever does. I went to Jeff's yesterday. Aimee's father had surgery and was home so she went over to see him. He is doing well. The kids were so cranky, Jeff too! I think this weather is getting to everyone. They can't go outside and run off their energy. We played a tea cups game which was fun. Then they just got antsy and started bickering. Sam has given up his once a day nap and he is not even 2 yet but he is just like Dad. So 4 kids whining and bickering was interesting. Jeff is good with them and knows just what to do. I talked with Chris' cousin who is fighting cancer and he has had a good report so glad about that. I did go to the community center yesterday morning. A very kind person took me on a tour. I met a few people. They have various programs during the week and this week there is a grief and healing session with a grief counselor at a time when I can attend. She is affiliated with a local healthcare program and it includes all kinds of loss. I am willing to go and try out a session but to be honest, I am not a group person and don't like to talk in a group. It doesn't hurt to check it out once and if it is not for me I do not have to go back. This is a new program they are trying out and it will be once a month with no commitment.

I went to Market Basket this morning and picked up some stuff. I was shocked at the total as I always am but I did get coffee on sale and some deli stuff as well as restocked some things I needed. The prices never go down. Not much on the schedule today so I will probably work a bit and clean a bit and take a ride somewhere just to get out.

Have a good day.

Thank you dear Snowysmom. Rainy days can seem endless indeed for kids especially young ones. I do know seeing you yesterday brightened up their day. What about having a specail rainy day picnic? Each person could perhaps choose something to bring to eat or share. All of you could bake something or do an art project together. Just a suggestion :)

Hugs and always DRY prayers. I'm not a big group person at all either. Small groups can be blessings indeed. I truly am so proud of you for checking out the community center. I do pray it will become a positive place for you, my friend :)

Good Sunday morning

Our weather sure changed fast. It's 37 outside with strong winds. Only going to 41. Then by Tuesday we'll be back into 60's and 70's for the rest of the week.

The ground is still squishy from all the rain, but the sun's out and the winds should help dry it out a bit.

I had 7 rabbits in the yard yesterday. That guy is going to have to do something with them, or we'll be overrun.

I caught up on the rest of my shows yesterday. Tivo is empty except for the 5 Hawaii Five O's I always keep.

Off to dust and vacuum, then I have to assemble the new deck planter box I got.

Have a great day

Our weather ran through all the spectrums. We had sunshine, we had blue skies, we had high winds. We had clouds, and we had snow. At one point it was snowing so hard I couldn't see across the street. None of it stuck but it looked like a blizzard for awhile.

I put a small roast in the crock pot this morning with multicolored baby potatoes and baby carrots. I'm going to steam some fresh broccoli to go with it. I felt like making myself a whole meal for a change. Debating if I'm going to watch or tape the Oscars or just watch the Red Carpet.

Have a nice evening

Lynn, hugs, and your weather sure is wacky out there! Prayers you do enjoy a restful evening, my friend.

Bobbi, God Bless dear Gus. I am just so thankful he is doing so well. How is Tom? :)

PollyannaMom, cheering that your cats did let you sleep as they well should!

Good afternoon hugs to all with love.

I was just out to the curb with my organics bin for pickup in the morning and it was sleeting here. It says snow for the next couple of hours. But tomorrow is 50ties.

Praise extra to God dear Bobbi, this brightened my evening to read:hug:

I have such exciting news to share. I just posted this in the Disneyland Section because I had posted a thread earlier this afternoon asking some reservation questions. Guess what?! :D Dad and I now each have a SoCal Resident 3-Day one park (Disneyland only--we have no interest in CA Adventure) starting on my birthday! :mickeyjumToday is Champ's 35th birthday and I absolutely know he along with my grandparents and Christ are extra celebrating. It seemed fitting to purchase after prayer these two tickets today as it is exactly two months out. Dad is excited too and said, of course, he will be much more so, when we actually go. Kind Disneyland Section Disboarders confirmed for me earlier that indeed in order to make a reservation at Disneyland, you must have a valid ticket for that day or days. I hadn't realized that (We haven't been to Disneyland since my birthday in 2019 so this will mark exactly 5 years since our last trip) I did call Disneyland as well. A CM assured me that should we not be able to use our tickets (which of course we beyond pray does not happen) even though the special ticket offer will have expired, the money we spent on each ticket will still be valid and can be applied toward the purchase of a future admission to Disneyland so we aren't risking losing $550 which of course is the last thing we would want to do especially since all this was a gift, a small but HUGE to us miracle God made possible through several friends and one family member. It just feels so uplifting to have this trip to more officially look forward. It certainly provides me all the extra prayer and motivation to do all I can and then some to be completely healed and healthy by then! Tomorrow morning I will call Dr. B's office. Should I still get no answer as was the strange result all day on Friday. I will immediately call Dr. S's office to make my appointment. Dad will be seeing Dr. S this coming Thursday.

Thank you all forever for your prayers always for my dad and me. Thank you for your belief in me and that I am by God's Grace alone (all Glory only and forever to Him, nothing I did or am doing) am and will continue to heal. Dad, too. I once read a story in one of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books about a young woman who was seeing a counselor. God used the counselor to help the woman believe in herself. At the end of the story, the woman thanks her friend, the counselor as she is a much better place in life for, "believing her well." I thank all of you for believing dad and I well of feet and otherwise! I will absolutely update tomorrow,

Please as always remember to never wait to tell someone you love or care for that you do. Allow them to do the same for you. Cherish every moment as the blessing extra from God it is and thank Him forever for it. I thank Him extra and daily for all of you.

Sweet Dreams dear Quacker Family with love.
