Hi all I was hoping for some opinions.
We are a family of 6, DH is probably the biggest eater out of all of us.
We usually always get the basic dining plan, but as the kids are getting older things are getting more expensive and 2 out of my 4 kids are now considered adults which imho should not be at age 10 but whatever :(
so anyway, we downgraded to the QS plan this year, but now i am wondering if that is even worth it, we are already going to be paying out of pocket at some sit downs just because the kids want to try some different places.
And I am thinking 1 snack credit a day will def. NOT HOLD over any of my kids, so opinions greatly appreciated!!;)
TIA
Danielle

We decided against the dining plan since dd is now 11, (49 inches/50 lbs with a growth delay) is considered an adult! I priced out what we'd order and we'd spend way less oop since we don't need soda and dessert with each meal and can share an adult meal. I'd check out some online menus and try to create a sample day to compare costs.

awesome, thank you for your input
I will def. look in some online menus :wizard::thumbsup2

If you are still doing Character Meals, you would likely save money with the basic DDP with 2 children still on the Children's menu. As far as QS, I tend to lean against doing it. You could probably share some of them OOP that the QS DDP will not allow you to do.

Do the QS plan only if you really really want to prepay. Or you can get it free.

If you're going to do one TS a day and they're going to be fixed price, buffets or character meals, then don't downgrade, keep the regular plan.
