Just asking these questions as we are a larger group and it is the first time flying for many of us and just want to know what to expect. Thanks!;)

I know I can go online after midnight the night before our SWA flight to Orlando in hopes of getting line A. Yet I have a few questions, please...

Q1: Ok, considering the fact that most people have internet service at home, what happens if everyone on the flight goes online to print their boarding passes-would everyone get "A"? Or just a certain amount then others would get B, and so on?

Q2: Say we do NOT print our boarding passes. We get to the airport early and get in line "A." Would the people who have already printed their own boarding passes go in front of us? OR do we get assigned A, B or C when we check-in?

Q3: My daughter and her family will be with us. Since they have two little ones, ages 2 & 5, do they get to board first on SWA?

I know I can go online after midnight the night before our SWA flight to Orlando in hopes of getting line A. Actually, you can go online 24 hours before the departure of your flight to get your boarding passes....

Yet I have a few questions, please...

Q1: Ok, considering the fact that most people have internet service at home, what happens if everyone on the flight goes online to print their boarding passes-would everyone get "A"? Or just a certain amount then others would get B, and so on? It is only a certain amount, so be ready at the 24 hour mark. If you have a large group, you may have more than 1 confirmation number... so be quick or have two people do it.

Q2: Say we do NOT print our boarding passes. We get to the airport early and get in line "A." Would the people who have already printed their own boarding passes go in front of us? The boarding pass lines are first come first serve, so the earlier you get there the better, BUT, you cannot get in the A line unless you have an A pass. I recommend checking in online at the 24 hour mark to have the best chance at an A.

Q3: My daughter and her family will be with us. Since they have two little ones, ages 2 & 5, do they get to board first on SWA?Preboards are allowed for families with kids under 5, but don't totally count on it as SWA can suspend the preboards if there are too many of them. Still have your daughter and her family check in online to get the A pass. Mom and dad will be the only ones that can board with the kids, no aunts, uncles, grandmas, etc.....

Have fun!

THANKS, DUDS! After reading your post, I checked our paperwork-we have THREE confirmation numbers! Yikes! And one of them is just for our 2 yo DGS!
And I thought I was nervous before?! :scared1:

Try to relax and not worry about it too much!!! With all the talk here on the boards, we tend to make it more difficult than it is. Just sit at your computer, do each confirmation, you should have no problems. If you get the A section, then you may be best off just all heading to the back of the plane, where you'll have a better chance of all being seated together. Of course, if dd boards with the little ones, she will not be with you if she sits close to the front. But, again...relax. If I could figure out SW, and fly it with no problem, anyone can!!!
For your return, at the end of your stay, just check with your resort's front desk...they should be able to do the on-line checkin for you.

3 is not that bad I ckecked 3 different #'s for 5 people while walking through the BTMRR line and 8:00pm for our next days trips .All A's matter of fact # 1,6,7,9 &10 on the list.

Most time the # is 40 or 44 for the first A's then the next 41/45 to 80 /88 are B's and then the rest are c's.

If you have a cell phone with WEB enabled you can check-in with that and do a Reprint at the airport.

Remember as others have said it's 24 hr now not at 12:01 like it use to be.
