(I did a search for this and came up with a lot of threads about people pushing, but didn't see anything about him!)

Does anyone else love PUSH? My idea of WDW heaven is to listen to PUSH, ride the TTA 3x in a row, go back to PUSH, ride the TTA 3x, etc etc etc :rotfl:

For those who don't know, PUSH hangs out near Auntie Gravities in Tomorrowland, near the washrooms. If he gets bored (ie it's slow, he goes to the exit of Stitch and tries to find someone to talk to) He likes to talk to kids, but will seek out adults too. Recently I heard him converse with 'Mr Incredible' ie a father wearing an Incredibles t-shirt. PUSH kept talking about how much he loved 'his' movie, and asked the man to do Incredibles things. He also talkings to people 'going potty' ie heading in the direction of the washrooms, and reminds them to wash their hands, etc.

I was good friends with PUSH in one of his earlier lives, when he was an R2D2 type robot representing a world's fair. Glad that Disney adopted him!!!

BEBOP at AK and is PUSHes cousin has been my DD's on going boyfriend since she was 3...she is going on 8 and still talks of the day she first meet BEBOP outside the turnstills at AK...We met PUSH last year and she told him the story. :rotfl: He was very swee with her..

We saw PUSH for the first time on our last trip. DS5 just loved talking to him. DS had on Shrek tennis shoes and PUSH called him "Mr. Shrek Shoes" over and over. :rotfl2:

I have been to Disney so many times and I have to say that I don't ever remember seeing either of these things.

Does anyone have a picture of either Push or Bebop? I would love to see these when we head there in 8 days.

Sorry, I don't have a photo of PUSH. He looks just like a regular gabarge can, but he's actually on tiny wheels and wanders around. He is usually outside Auntie Gravity's in the late morning at MK. I don't usually go to MK in the afternoons, so couldn't say.

It's the things like this that make WDW more interesting than just rides!

I did also check out some of the character photo sites - one has lots of DeVine, but no PUSH....

I saw someone trying to throw trash in PUSH and he yelled at her, and boy, did she ever jump back!!!! :rotfl:

I had a friend's three year old son in a stroller, and PUSH came up to him and said, "And you allow your mother push you around like that? Wow!" Needless to say, the 3 year old was speechless. too funny. I love PUSH. :earboy2:

With all my trips I am sad to say I have YET to see PUSH or BEBOP, for that matter, but I will definitely be looking for them both in 3 weeks. Where does BEBOP hang out?

...I am crazy about the talking drinking fountains in EPCOT.

I bent down for a sip of water and the thing says to me: "I wanted a career in show business, but they told me it was pipe dream."

Where is the talking drining fountain? I must have missed that one.

Walking into Epcot...from the main entrance...go to the left, past the Big Ole Golf Ball. Right behind it are the pools of dancing water. On the left side (that is, ifyou're facing the World Showcase) there are some drinking fountains. Take a sip! :flower:

I love sitting in SeaTac (Seattle) airport and hearing the waterfountain gurgle and bubble and make noises to itself (it too is a 'talking' water fountain). It's right outside two washrooms, so unfortunately some people think that the 'noises' are coming from somewhere else!!

I have a nice memory of PUSH. Two years ago we were in WDW. My DH and DD were on Space Mountain. My DD2 and DD3 and I were sitting and waiting for them. I was 15 weeks pregnant and very ill at the time. I must have looked dreadful because this guy came over to me and asked if I felt okay. He started entertaining the girls. He offered to get me ice water. He was just really kind. He said he was a CM on his break and if we sat and waited a few minutes, he'd have a surprise for the girls( he asked for their names and favorite things etc) He got up and left and a few minutes later, PUSH the trash can comes right up to us. Calling the girls by name, etc. They were floored. They still talk about it today and when we go back in July, they want to visit their buddy, the trash can. Maybe you had to be there, but it was such a great moment. It's the little things that make me happy.

Push ignored my DD(5) in Dec. Other people would walk up and he would talk to them but we stood there tring to get it to talk to her and he would not. So he is no longer on our list as a good one to meet and greet. I will not waste our time from now on. I felt that the person controling it was trying to be a jerk even though I don't know why we just tried to get it to talk to DD. :confused3

I've noticed that PUSH doesn't act like other characters ie he doesn't go to the 'next' person. Sometimes he just moves away completely and approaches other people in other areas. Other times he talks waaaaaay too long to people about boring things while there are lots of kids around.

Reincarnation didn't change PUSH's character - he behaved like that when he was a robot, too. I don't know if he has guidelines, or can't see too well??!

To give him credit, he does try to talk to people who don't speak English - he tries out his little French or Spanish.

Push got VERY fresh with my DW last time we saw him :earsboy: !

He whistled and "hubba-hubba'd" her. It was a good thing as she was on chemo and not feeling very attractive (no hair and all) It made her feel better all the way round!

:wizard: ::MickeyMo :earsgirl: :earsboy:

I love those things!

Next trip in two weeks!

My DD feels EXACTLY the same way! If we ever go to WDW at the same time, could I please leave her with you to do those things together while I ride Space Mountain for the first time since she was born? Please? I'll give you a :mickeybar (Then again, I secretly love the TTA and PUSH too...)
