Purple Parking

Just about to book my car parking and Purple parking have what I think is a reasonable deal.

We drop off at their offices and get 15 days of parking and then they meet us at airport on our return.

For £93.38 and a 15% cashback with quidco.

Has anyone had any experience with this company and can you recommend them. They seem to have reasonable reviews online, but I like to check with you guys first.

We've used purple parking several times for meet and greet and they have always been there waiting for us in both directions, never had any complaints.

Out of all the airport parking I have done Purple parking are the one I will never use again. Is it Heathrow? its a huge parking lot, they cram thousands of cars in inches apart from each other, I know others do but they are the worst I have seen.
On our return from LAX we rang to be collected, over 1 hour wait and waiting with us were 2 prem babies who's parents were told they had priority on return. This was Nov and extremly cold outside for an hour.
Back to the parking lot we were asked to stay on the minibus, took us to the office to be told they had lost our keys(Karen hit the roof) in the office we were with another family with missing keys along with other people notifying them of damage to cars, it was mad in that office.
Ended up bring us home to Yorkshire in a minibus, taking spare key then thru the night bringing our car back with another following to take the driver back to London. They eventually sent the key by post a few days later.
The driver that brought our car back said he would recommend their Meet & Greet service but their self park was a joke, complaints and damage every day.
Maybe they have cleaned up their act, it was a while back but I will never use them again.

I am going out in 30 mins but if you want to give airport & dates I can look to see if any better deals around, I have been looking at Meet and Greet for relatives from Manchester 15 days is only £45, £93 seem a lot but I know London is more.

We've probably used purple parking around 10 times (5 of those at heathrow) all meet and greet so can't recommend the self parking.

Park and go are a little cheaper in June for 15 nights they have meet and greet for £89 plus you get 9% discount with code NVCPG9 and cash back through quid co.
When we booked the budget meet and greet in November it ended up being purple parking.

Thank you for your comments, we were orginally going to stay overnight at Heathrow with a hotel including parking but jeepers prices have increased to unbelievable levels since last time. Plus the fact we are now a family of 5 doesn't seem to help.

I did decide to go with Purple parking but upgraded us to the Meet and Greet with 3 kids, their carseats, a stroller and driving the M25 through peak hour I just thought it would be much easier. I have my fingers crossed it goes ok.

I am sorry you had such a rubbish experience Wayne, it is the waiting that always puts me off when you get off a long flight and then have to stand around with kids it just isn't on.

One company I would recommend from Heathrow is VIP www.valueindividualparking.co.uk

Just priced up a random 16 nights £74.95, not sure if there are an discount codes about, I found one for 10% last time I used them. I also paid an extra £22 for valet, came back to a nice clean car.

I forgot to mention that now purple parking meet and greet (not sure about others) you no long pick up out the front like it used to be, you have to go up in an elevator and to the roof of a car park to pick up your car, there were loads of cars there so I think they bring them earlier in the day (when we called to say we had arrived they said our car was already there waiting for us).
