Purchase additional days on existing tickets

Has anyone ever purchased additional days on existing tickets?

Last year we purchsed the 8 day Magic Your Way, Park Hopper w/Water Park and More Fun No Expiration. I really regret not getting the 10 days. So, now this year we are going to be there 10 days and have only used 4 of our 8 days. I was so hoping we could purchase the additional 2 days to bring it to 10 so we can use it on this trip, without having to purchase 2 additional days at the higher prices. Does Disney do this? TIA

I think so. We tried to do it last year and needed more days than we could add. The price was minimal.
You go to guest relations I think--not the usual ticket windows.

On the Theme Parks board there's a sticky thread about everything you need to know about WDW tickets. There, I'm pretty sure it says you can only change things on your tickets inside of 14 days of using them. So while you could have added those 2 days on when you initially got and used them, you can't now (unless it's under 14 days since you started using them).

Sorry, too late. (see above).

But one thing that may work out. Buy all new expiring tickets for this upcoming vacation and save the 4 day leftovers for a future 4 day vacation.

It is not a bad bargain to use the water park fun on an old non-expiring ticket while using a new ticket for theme park admission.

Even if you had remembered to add more days before you went home from your last vacation, you cannot expand the ticket back to 10 unused days for next time given that 4 were used. The maximum is 10 including days already used.

Finally if you had 10 days on a ticket and were going to consume all in one sitting, you don't need and you don't want non-expiration. The ticket won't begin a countdown to extinction, oops, expiration, until you start using it.
