I don't know why your vet would suggest that. Wetting dry food can cause bloat which can be fatal. I'll try to post a link.

I have to amend this statement. Wetting down food that contains CITRIC ACID can cause bloat.

Our 4 mo old golden retriever puppy, Teddy, also eats very fast and acts like he is starving. We keep him in the crate until the other dog eats, then he goes to lick his bowl. We feed him 3 meals a day and yet he tried to EAT everything.

I think it's a puppy thing......

You may to consider a different food. before I knew better, I fed my cats Purina One. Looking at the puppy food ingredients there are few things you may want to consider:

It is good that lamb is the first ingredient, but you don't want corn or corn gluten meal in your dog's food at all, it's just cheap filler. You aslo don't want an unnamed "animal fat"... WHAT KIND OF ANIMAL? Animal digest is another one to avoid.

And thank you...he is certainly a blast!! Im not sure that he will be able to pull off the photos that Spencer did, but that is ok...Spencer is 1 of a kind!
