Pumpkins and Pirates and Cowboys... Oh my! Our dream Disney TR!

Nope. He said he would not propose at Disney or on a holliday. I think it will be sooner than Disney. Honestly once he has it, I don't know how long he will be able to hold on to it.

His mother already thinks we are engaged. Sunday, she called me her DIL. :)
You don't think he is saying that just to throw you off?? He is up to shenanigans. ;) Whatever he does, will be great. I just wish DF had proposed to me at WDW but I wouldn't want to wait that long. I am impatient! :rotfl:

I had been meaning to respond to you Beka, I am so sorry. :flower3:

Just caught up with the latest info. DBF and I also enjoy zazzle's variety of images. That is probably what we will do for MNSSHP this year, a character tee with accesories to go with it. Not sure if it was you or Lady I told this to, but last year we went and wore head to toe polyester costumes in 90 degree weather. It was awful! We are going for more cool and comfortable "costumes" this year.

Beka, I think you have it just right... which is why Indy is on my list! :) I have been trying to get DBF to think about being Mr. Increadible... but something about the too tight costume has been setting off the "not Disney friendly" radar. :lmao:

Also, AK is our favorite park! I know that people either love it or hate it, but definitely give it the chance it deserves!

~Beka~

I have us down for a day on Friday... we may sleep in (but not too late... we are at Disney after all!), but we will try to get there to see everything we want to.

Honestly I don't think this part is shenanigans. I think he will do it this summer and most likely on the beach under the stars. Last year we had this unforgetable walk on the beach when there was no moon and millions of stars to light our way.

You could totally be right, but I can usually tell when he is hiding something or lying about it and he didn't seem to be hiding anything.

Oooh I am so excited for you!
I knew DF was close to proposing but when he actually did it I thought it was too obvious so there was "no way" he was going to propose and then he did so....he kinda threw me off. :goodvibes

Hey! Congrats on your trip planning and have fun! I love the planning phase almost as much as the actual trip! :goodvibes :goodvibes Looks great so far, I'm in :cheer2: popcorn:: !

Woo Hoo, so glad you got your party tickets at a good time to lift your spirits!!

Yeah, I really needed it!! I wanted to spend all last week hiding under my desk...

We loved MNSSHP! OOHH I hope he proposes soon. This coming from someone who has been married for 9 1/2 yrs! LOL

I can't wait to spend our favorite holliday in the happiest place on earth! We love Halloween!

I don't think he is able to wait. I think that he will have the ring maybe a week before he proposes. I think the ring will burn a hole in his pocket.

So taking from other PTR's (too many to count) I am going to go back and look at some memories from former trips.

The best one by far is from when my parents finally got to go to Disney for the first time. There is a little bit of background.

My parent's barely had two pennies to rub together their first 12 years of marriage. However they managed to provide for three children, though sometimes I wonder how. After I had my first visit to Disney with my Grandparents, my mom and I started a Disney wish fund where we threw all of our change in our efforts to save up for our dream family vacation. Eventually my dad's new job as a plumber for a college allowed for sidework at night and my parents started feeling the financial noose letting go.

By 1994, they finally were in decent enough shape to think about vacation. My dad had just gotten a big side job, and decided to take the proceeds to take us all to Disney. He got together with my grandparents and they started making plans. The dining plan was young and provided free Breakfast and Dinner with the plan they chose.

We left in October of 1994, and checked in at Dixie Landings (Now a part of Port Orleans) and my family and I headed out to the MK.

Now my Dad had been grumbling about this trip for a while, and he really was unsure about wanting to go. But I told him in my 12 year old way that it was the most magical place in the world. We got there and entered the main gate at the MK. Everyone was looking at the map and I poked my Dad, who looked at me with his "what's up" look.

"Dad I want to show you something..." I whispered and grabbed his hand and dragged him to the head of Main Street, looking down at the Castle.

"Look at that!" I said to him pointing. "Isn't it so amazing?"

He just stood there for a moment and that's when I noticed that there were tears in his eyes and his voice cracked when he finally looked down at me. " I never thought I would see this in my life."

We just stood there and stared at the castle for a few more minutes when everyone finally caught wind we were gone. It was so cool to share that with him.

For one week in 1994, my dad became a kid again. And while he doesn't know if he will make it back, he is greatful for just going once!

Awww! That story brought tears to my eyes.

I am going to... on this grey and misrible Friday.... talk to you about one of my passions.

I love Scrapbooking.

I don't quite know why. It is very relaxing to me..

But I think if I had to pinpoint a specific reason. It is because I can record my memories and the memories of others for future generations.

So I got 2 50% off coupons to AC Moore... I am going to have to keep the spending to a minimum, but I am going to get my 2 disney scrapbooks and insert additions. (And some stickers and stuff too)

:woohoo:

One hour til I head off to shop!

MNSSHP tickets  I'm back and all caught up :)

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome Back

I spent an enormous amount at Michael's last weekend for my trip binder.

I went to AC Moore and honestly, between that and Michael's I have so much scrapbook stuff...

Today I got the scrapbook and then I saw the Mickey Hole Punch and Alice in Wonderland stickers. Then I saw the vintage Mickey paper.... Thank goodness for 50% off coupons....

I can't go these places alone....

I got the mickey punch on the previous trip. When I went to Michael's all of the stickers and such were 40% off so that helped...helped me to just buy more.

Yay for scrapbooking! I love to scrap! :cool1: :cool1: I just wish I had more time to do it. We don't have an AC Moore, but Hobby Lobby is my best friend when it comes to supplies.
