Thanks. The color matches my hair nearly exactly. Even better I picked it up for about $10 on ebay brand new. Felt pretty real too. I've worn it a few times since and no one has ever guessed its not real.

You really do need to brave clutsiness to hit Space Mtn. That's were they give out the full size packages of Kissables! I finally figured out the best way was just to grab a hold of my bff's shoulder for levarage. I didn't even chance Splash Mtn.

Oooohhh I have changed my mind I am there!!!

So one of the surprises that I have for my DBF is a nice dinner at Coral Reef.. because I had heard of the divers and personalized menu. I tried to get the diver for 3 weeks and then when I was about to give up all hope, I found the number for the resturant on the thread here on the DIS.

So I called last night as I got an early release from work and he wasn't due home....

I got voicemail and left a detailed message that said this:

"Good afternoon Debbi. My name is Tracey. We are coming to Coral Reef for dinner on October 18th. Our reservation number is ___________ and the reservation is under DBF's name. It is his birthday while we are at Disney and I wanted to do something special for him. I had heard about the divers with the personalized signs and the personalized menus. I would love to do that for him! Can you give me a call or an e-mail and we can discuss the possibility of doing this. Thank you and have a Magical evening."

So this morning, I am not feeling so great about my chances and I get this e-mail...

"Unfortunately you reservation time too late to request a diver if you are able to be here at 7:00 I can request a diver for you. I made a note in your original reservation that you will arrive at 7:00. Please confirm that you are able to make it at that time. Also send a few pictures (3-6) and a special message to personalize the menu. We can not promise a tank side table however we will get you as close as possible so that you will see your banner.

You don’t have to say anything special when you check in. Just allow the magic to happen for you.

Thank you and have a magical evening!"

I quickly e-mailed her back and gave her some pictures of him and I that I have here on the work computer and ones with our niece and nephew.

My special message, "Happy Birthday to the one I love deeper than any ocean! Love, Tracey"

That is going to be so awesome! And I bet he will be surprised!

I love date night... we get all fancied up and go out on the town. Out on the Town for us most of the time involves dinner and a movie.

Tonight it was my turn to choose date night. I chose to do dinner at "Rick's Cafe" a resturant that is Cassablanca themed. (One of my favorite movies!)

Then we have tickets to see Indiana Jones... *sigh* I love Indiana Jones. I think it has something to do with the fedora and the whip.

I am so ready to bust out of here and head home! I have heard rumblings of our office closing at 4 so here is to hoping!

They may not be open yet... I think they open at 5 so you may want to try around 5:15 - 5:30. I don't know about whether or not it is too late. That would be a question for her.

The hammocks sound awesome...do you have to be a guest at the Poly for that?

I don't think so. Someone actually suggested it for fireworks, but since we are overthere for the Luau that night and will miss Wishes b/c our ADR is for 8:00. So we are opting to go star watching instead.

There is also a story behind our hobby of star watching. We spend a lot of our summer weekends on Cape Cod. The first time we traveled down there, we went to a beach, and it was 9 at night and it was just at the end of the off season so all the lights were out and no one was on the beach. There was no moon and the sky was clear, so there were millions of stars to light our way as we walked . It was the coolest thing either of us have ever seen, and something we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Dh and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary during our Dec trip and I am hoping to do an ADR there and book the diver. I also did not know about the menu. I'll have to be sure to pull up some of our old wedding pictures to add to it! I'm so excited about it now. I can't wait to hear about your personalized menu! Bye for now!

It was AWESOME. Even though we live together, we still need that time out of the house. So we try to do it once a week.

Indy was great, everything I had hoped it would be! Classic Indy and if you are a fan, you should totally go and see it.

They showed a preview for Wall-E and it looks great. We both added it to out "must see" list.

Next week we are seeing Prince Caspian with my BF and her husband.

I am glad that you are still here reading my report! I am glad you will be able to use the number for Coral Reef. I think the diver is a great idea. And the personalized menus will be icing on the birthday cake.

Aubrey, I bet you are so ready to get out of school! I read in the report that you have a very busy summer planned.


I will have an update on here tomorrow I think. DBF is stuck working this weekend and aside from cleaning the house and getting things straight for a trip to Albany to visit our friends next weekend, I am going to be watching movies and searching the DIS.

Excellent, excellent pre-trip report! October is one of my favorite times of year to visit the World, and I love Halloween. I am so looking forward to this trip for you and your DBF. I can't believe how long it's been since you've gone, you're going to be just like little kids again!
