Pumpkins and Pirates and Cowboys... Oh my! Our dream Disney TR!

Sounds like a fantastic plan! I'm so happy you get to eat in the castle! Can't wait to read more!!

Monday October 20th

Day at Universal Studios
Lunch there…
Nap at Hotel
Dinner at Scifi Café 7:30
Evening Magic Hours at MK or Adventurers’ Club

So part of the negotiation about the length of the trip was we could use up my vacation time only if we could spend time at Universal (2 parks 2 days)... As much as I was not enthused about this, I am going along with it because I am spending 10 days at the happiest place on Earth. We realized that we wanted to see less at Universal and more at Islands of Adventure, and so I scheduled Universal here.

Dinner sounds interesting. I have heard nothing but good things about the Sci Fi Cafe.

If we aren't exausted we can take advantage of the MK magic hours or head towards DTD and Pleasure Island. We both want to check out the Adventurers’ Club, as it seemed to remind us of the old 1800's Hunter's Clubs. Has anyone ever been there?

Good morning - only 7 months to go for me - TODAY!! :cool1:

You may want to rethink your evening plans - I think you may spend a lot of time in buses as opposed to actually doing anything!!

Check out the dining reviews on the ears-to-ears web site for SciFi - I believe the general consensus is "the food sucks like a B-movie monster" ... :lmao: ... and just go there for dessert ... (to eat dessert - not BE dessert!! :rotfl2: )

The DW and I haven't been to the Adventurer's Club in many moons - but I think you'll have a great time there (and at Pleasure Island in general ...) [and bring the whip!!] :rotfl:

Good for you!!! You definately deserve a dancing banana.

Yeah, with the expansion, it is going to be different travel time than I am used to...

I will have to check those out.... (And we definately do not want to be dessert for the Swamp thing... Rumor has it he has stinky breath. :rotfl: ) Seriously, it is really one of the DBF's main choices. I think I will show him the reviews and let him decide.

I think that will be a fun night.... That is the only club on PI that we really want to visit. :)

Back with the two more days! It is an override election day here, so the phones are ringing off the hook with people asking about voting places and what the percentage of the vote has been so far.

Tuesday October 21

Epcot or DHS (walk from the hotel)
Rest at Hotel
Luau at the Polynesian 8:00 pm
Catch a hammock at the Poly and look up at the stars

This is one of the toss up day! We don't quite know what park to go to, but it will be one within walking distance. We have the Luau at 8 so we will head over to the Poly around 6. I am sure we will miss the fireworks, but we will head to the hammocks after to sit under the stars and share a quiet (and romantic) moment together.

Wednesday October 22

Universal Studios Islands of Adventure
Dinner at Mythos Resturant at US

Again... I get to use up the rest of my vacation time in Disney, so we spend 2 days in Universal. Although they did add the Simpsons Ride and they have the Dr. Seus Land so I will have plenty to check out.

I think the night time activity will be actually checking out the Boardwalk and enjoying the atmosphere.

Do you need a reservation for Jellyrolls? I hope not.... Something about the dueling piano's intrigues me :)

So the election over here turned out not quite as expected, but it looks like a raise may be in our future. Can I get a dancing banana man? Yeah. That's what I am talkin about!

Someone ordered me my baggolini off amazon yesterday, so I can't wait to get it. I need a place to put my rather large, really cool digital camera. (Thank you stimulus check)

Anyway... Back to the Itenerary:

Thursday October 23

Disney Hollywood Studios
Brunch- 50's Prime Time Cafe 11:00am
Dinner - Brown Derby 4:30 p.m. (Fantasmic Package)
Fantasmic

This is a totally a walking/boat to the park day. We will try and get there for the Rope Drop. Grab rides on our essentials. See Indy and the parade. Go back to the Hotel for a nap and then return for our dinner ressies. Then go on rides and check stuff out until Fantasmic.

Friday October 24

Animal Kingdom
Dinner at Yak and Yeti
Maybe grab some time at Epcot Magic Hours.

Now we are begining to reach the end. I have read in the parks forum about how Animal Kingdom has the tendency to be over crowded so today we are going to take our time getting there, I think. We have to be at the Yak and Yeti for dinner. What are your thoughts on Animal Kingdom?
(I think we need to switch one of the earlier EPCOT days to Animal Kingdom, so we can have more than one day there.)

Since EPCOT is so close to the BWI, we may go over for Magic Hours.

I just got caught up...again. I thought I had suscribed but didn't. Whoops! I think you have some great plans in there, so exciting!

Aubrey and I are caught up too! whew! I like your plans so far. As far as AK goes, it is not one of our favorite parks. Personally, I wouldn't exchange an Epcot day for it, but others would. So it is really what do you like the best and what do you want to accomplish the most. I know I'm no help huh?:confused3 :rotfl2: Ok, off to post on our PTR! See ya!

No you are tons of help... Honestly, We aren't really jazzed about AK. We want to go on Everest, Dinasaur and the Safari, but other than that we are not really "must see" for anything.

Hi Aubrey:wave2: Thanks for reading up on my Pre trip. I am really excited to read more of yours.

Animal Kingdom is not my favorite either, there are some things I always like to hit, I think it's a 1/2 day park for us. It's all up to what you want to do. I think 1 full day would be plenty.

I agree with Lady. We usually do 2 half days at AK. Hit he safari and a few other things and leave.

So today has been a horrible day for things I can not really talk about (one of the problems with being a paralegal, I can't properly vent about my day.)

 :headache:

The only thing that is keeping a smile on my face and my sanity in check is the Disney Trip. However the last part of the agenda to post is the end of it so I think I will save that for tomorrow.

The DBF is being a complete sweetheart about it though. He is even taking me out to dinner and a movie tonight to try and take my mind off of things.

So I have decided to hang out here and show off an adorable picture as I work:

Have a good relaxing time!! :goodvibes

The last two days for your viewing pleasure....

Saturday October 25 (Last day :guilty:)
Dinner- Le Chefs de France- 8:00

This is something I never had with my other trips. I created a day where we sit down mid trip and think of things we would like to do/ purchase/ eat before we leave. Then we prioritize and pick out one or two parks to go to. The last minute things like one last trip on Spaceship Earth or RRC. As long as we are back in EPCOT for our 8:00 ADR. (I have no doubt that this is going to happen. I have a feeling EPCOT will be one of the two that we are visiting this day.

Sunday October 26

Breakfast at Boardwalk Bakery
Check out of Hotel
Walk to EPCOT for one last ride
Catch Magical Express around 11
Lunch at Airport
Depart Orlando at 1:57
Arrive in Boston at 4:50

Now the saddest day of the whole vacation! The day when we pack up our stuff and head back home to friends and family and leave one home to go back to the other. We are up to get breakfast at the Boardwalk Bakery, and if there is time the DBF would like to catch one last ride at EPCOT before racing back to the hotel to catch the Magical Express around 11.

We will arive back in Boston, armed with all our magical memories (and a boatload of hats) to share with our families when we get back to our apartment.
