Public transportation to each hotel?

Viewing the resort hotels can be an adventure just like going to the parks. Is it possible to view all the hotels via public transportation? I know not all are accessible via monorail so I was thinking why not take a bus from my hotel (all star sports) to one of the parks, and then from the park hop on one of the resort buses. Has anyone tried this?

yes you can do that.

it is not public transportation but wdw transportation.

Yes, you could do this. Or, take a bus to DTD and catch a resort bus there.

Other than cabs there is not really PUBLIC transportation since it is all Disney Property, but there are Disney buses that go everywhere.

We always do it some you can Boat to as well. X-mas we hit most of the resort except a few.
