Just got back from a 1 night stay at Grand California using pts. Had a great time...BUT...be careful when you make reservations. I made reservations for a room with a queen bed & bunk beds. I explained when I made reservations we had a 16 year old son & 19 year old daughter, so the bunk beds would be a great idea. When we got to the hotel, we had a room with 2 queen beds. THey explained the bunk beds are for 5'2" and under. There is NO ROOM for a rollaway, so we got a sleeping bag and mat.

We are hoping to stay at the GC in December using points... did you make any specific requests for view? Were you happy with your view? Or do you have any recommendations?

Thanks,

Joy

Lucky for us, February is considered "choice season" so it was 37 pts for a Sat stay.

We had connecting rooms and were located at 4112 & 4114. We had a view of the monorail & walking pathway area. Believe it or not, (or else we were so tired) we didn't really hear the monorail. It was quite nice sitting on our balcony and looking out, we didn't feel we were at Disneyland at all. I'm not sure I'd like to be on the Downtown DIsney view side.

The way the hotel is set up, I believe everyone has a balcony and view of something.

It was too cold to use the pool, but they have a pool, 2 spas, a wading pool and a pool for the small water slide. They even have lifeguards!
