Proposed Theme Parks

I have been hearing rumors that Disney has bought some plots of land in Texas and was wondering if it were true or false. I live in the Houston area and think it would be a great thing if Disney came here to build a park. The closest theme parks we have to us right now are Six Flags in Dallas,TX and the Six Flags: Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TX. I also feel that if Disney did go through with a park in the Houston area that it would open more job oppritunities. More information would be greatly appriciated if you are able to give any.

If a park was built everytime someone heard Dis bought land in Texas there would be a dozen parks there by now. . . . . . .old, old, rumor. Sorry!

Best guess right now is that Disney will focus on enhancing the theme parks they have now, in the United States, rather than building more.
