I'm in and taking notes this whole season. I have a friend who got pretty far in the casting process and just missed this season. She learned so much from the process, but no Tim.



But she did score tickets to the Finale, we're counting down the weeks. Now of course I'm going to spend months figuring out what the right outfit to wear for the show is.

I don't have cable so I'll have to wait for it to be posted online tomorrow. I hope Hulu doesn't tease us with just the first episode and then not post any more for the season.

Reading the next (actual) edition of TV Guide, apparently they came up with the concept themselves. They met and became friends at the Season 2 wrap party, and now they'll be traveling the United States...

I want in on the discussion, too. I had to adjust the time for Bethenny Getting Married so I could also record PR. Interesting that it will always be 90 minutes. I'm not so sure that's a great idea. Time will tell.

I love all the NYC shots in this episode... Lincoln Center is 6 blocks from my apartment, where I'm sitting right now.

It usually takes a few weeks for me to get a feel of the contestants

The girl with the capris(in the bottom 3)-loved her shirt-she really screwed up just shortening the pants

The dress that won was just "ok"-didnt thrill me

I like the black Tu-tu "way out there" dress the most

What no Models of the Runway?! Id give up that extra 30 minutes each week for Models of the Runway!! I enjoyed their cattyness. (I love watching drama on tv its better than real life drama lol)

Wow Cassanova's outfit wow... haha im so jealous of his model's body I wish I had that body haha.

I loved the colours of McKell's dress it just was pretty to me. I too like the puffy bubble dress it was so cutsie.

I don't think Gretchen's was my favourite at all but I'd totally wear it!

The judges had him as one of the bottom six - but really, when you consider how LITTLE he had to work with, I think he came up with something really interesting.

Didnt they all have as much Mood fabric as they needed?(Besides the clothes item from the person next to them?)

Yeah they did.
Because Peach couldn't do too much with her fabric and used alot of the other fabric (mood fabric) to make her design work.

I find it funny the designers thought McKell's purse worked perfect with the outfit at least someone loudly commented and the judges were like EWWW

Oh! I know when the designers are commenting on their fashions, it's taped later and edited in over the modeling portion, but did anyone else notice that right as Casanova gushing over his design, the camera switched to Nina and she was mouthing "okayyyyyyy"....?

I agree. It didn't fit right, but McKell's dress was actually an attemt at style and she actually MADE a dress. My 10 yo could have stapled a kimono robe on backwards. I was really disapointed he is staying and she went home.

I was also disapointed in the shortened pants. I liked the blouse, but shortening the pants was not using the existing garment creatively.

I'm hoping the season gets better.

Suprisingly, I likes the Austin & Santino show. I really liked Austin, but thought that show would be a dud...so far, so good!

It was interesting, but I’d be pretty upset if one of my favorite things I had brought along got cut up and made into someone else’s design!

I think any future designers might be careful about what they bring with them.

I think all the episodes will be 90 minutes this season, not just this first one. I did like to be able to see more of the process and the judging.

That's why I didn't understand Casanova being so upset about his pants (although it was really funny) - he knew he would have to use them in his design when he pulled them out of his bag. He could have chose pajama pants or something he didn't just pay $1000 for. But knowing me, I would have chosen my "lucky" shirt or something and ended up giving the luck to someone else.

I hope that they will all be 90 minutes - they could even do 2 hours each and I'd still be happy.

I didn't think McKell deserved to go home - especially over the kimono guy - I t think there must have been other reasons playing pretty heavily - like the producers thought it would be more interesting to have him on the show to see if he continues to send stuff down the runway stapled together.
