Nobody listens to me . I said this, back on the first page of the thread!!

That's it. You hurted my feelings. I don't wanna play any more. I'm taking my toys and going home.

I guess we were the only 2 watching. They said it was cut for ratings. I think they could be full of it.

That being said, I watched Austin and Santino and actually enjoyed the show. I was not expecting it to be so mellow and positive. Totally threw me for a loop!!!!!

Loved Gretchen's dress. I thought it was classy and beautiful-- I would wear that to any wedding or formal event.
Agree that McKell was NOT the worst out there. Hated the kimono and REALLY hated Ivy's outfit. The shirt was mad unflattering and was an odd pairing with those pants. Woof.
Austin and Santino are in my top five favorite contestants of all time (Santino is #1), so I was thrilled to see they have a show. I liked it a lot!

Finally watched the first episode. Should be interesting watching Peach, Mondo, and Casanova this season! McKell's was definitely not the worst outfit (although her choices of the red purse and her model's hair were off)--I didn't like Ivy's or the outfit by the guy who wears the hat.

Don't think Tim agreed with the judges' choice, either.

So my thoughts for today on the show..

Likes:
Mondo's fun and flirty dress I totally saw the Mary Tyler Moore reference
Cassanova's Dress Id wear that with a tank underneath
Andy's ... Id wear that shirt like yesterday

Dislikes:
Jason safety pins...really? Didn't dig the design colour either
Valerie's so they loved it I didnt not my style aesthetic
Peach's... *sigh* I want to love her and i liked the polka dots but the brown was icky
Gretchen..the winner's umm ick I hated it sooo much Id never wear it (I know judging by what i would wear in alot of episodes isnt a good idea but...I dont know I tend to like what I could wear or would wear) lol

I think Gretchen should get double credit for hers and Cassanova's because of all the help she gave him. He really needs to go if only because he annoys the heck out of me!

I know this is a dumb reason, but Peaches and I are the same age and have the same hair cut and color so I really want her to do well, but its just not happening.....

There are still too many designers to have many favorites yet, but I did feel so sorry for Mondo last night. The poor guy just wants a friend but really lacks the social skills to find one.

I also think the Photo session really "sold" certain looks -the loosers did not have a good photo shoot-at all

The thin part Asian guy(dont know names yet)-I really liked his pull down accordian puff sleeves-neat

Okay, so I'm fine with no Models of the Runway. I watched when I could, but it was never a must see for me. I do miss certain aspects of it though. I miss the designers picking their models. I also liked hearing what the models thought of the designs they wore. I much prefer that than the hair and make-up discussions.

So far this season, it seems more about the styling than the design. That kind of bums me out. Sometimes I'd rather they all have the same hair/make-up, etc, so that all we see are the clothes. I know. I know. That would be too boring, though.

I was glad who went home, but I thought they might keep him because he would have brought lots of drama, he was a negative person-imho. the top 3 were really good I think it was a tough choice. I do think the pant suit did make for a fun shot & fun pictures. Next week looks good I love that challenge it is always fun to see what they come up with.

I agree; it's ridiculous to have another 1/2 hour, and not even have the model selection that they could fit into the 1 hour show! I still haven't really figured out what we gained by the extra 30 minutes. I wish they'd spend more time actually focusing on the clothes and less on the drama!

I'm totally in it for the drama.

I obviously have different taste than the judges, because I liked the skirt with the asymmetrical hem. What a fun change from the plain knee length skirts I we
Ar to work every day!

We felt so sad for the second guy who went home. He was so visibly heart broken. I was surprised they sent him home - I thought the judges liked a couple of the things he did, just not all of it together.

I love Mondo's outfit and I think it should have been the winner this week. Gretchen's was
Jason definitely deserved to go, his dress was horrible and would have been even if he finished it. I wish they sent him home last week and kept McKell.
I was so disappointed the Peach didn't use the top of her first dress because I thought it was so pretty. I am still baffled at her design choice but I'm thinking that because she had tried 2 other dresses she ran out of time and needed something to throw together quick. It could have been OK if it weren't for the polka dots.

Was there supposed to be 2 going home? They already know how many because of the weeks and how many end up in the finals, but do they let the viewers know or is it suppsoed to shock us?

I'm a 'little' irritated because the extra half hour was supposed to be so we could see more of the JUDGING process.

No!!! At the beginning of the episode, Heidi did a voice-over to the effect of, '...sixteen contestants yadda yadda and after tonight there will be fifteen'!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to say I am enjoying this season so far. I did like Mondo's outfit as well. I was surprised to see him turn that out. Hopefully he connects with someone.

As far as the winner not my favorite but I guess Gretchen really understood the challenge that it was for a billboard ad and her design would translate better being simple.

I guess I think like Tim Gunn in that I was not crazy about the zipper either on Valerie's dress. It was cute but she should have taken Tim's advice. The zipper probably not a good idea for the billboard.

Jason was a piece of work and I was so HAPPY to see him go. What a hot mess.

Next week's challenge looks tough!!!! You are going to see who can pull a rabbit out of a hat.

They should know that they are going to have to do a "materials" challenge and expect it.

Another judges FAIL. That outfit was horrible. The color was blah. It made her hips look wide. You could see her chest through the gaping armholes. I thought either one of the top two were far better.

Marie Clare/PR must want to be responsible for bringing this stupid jumpsuit idea back into fashion. Heidi was just photographed wearing one at some sort of PR function.

I agree that the jumpsuit was horrible but probably did photograph better for a billboard than any of the other designs.

As for the jumpsuit, I think that anyone young and skinny enough to look okay in it wouldn't want to wear a jumpsuit.
