Project Runway Season 4: Discussions & Spoilers

They gave away the outcome when Elisa started talking about her accident. It was basically the same clue that they gave when Milan was auf'd. When Heidi was promoting this season on Ellen, she said that it was the same $#%^, different people. I guess she was right.

I agree, when she had that whole accident speech, I thought ahhhhhhhhhhh the Kiss of Death for her and sure enough - GONE!

I could've sworn I saw the whole episode, but I missed something! What accident speech??

She mentioned being in a car accident and having a head injury that left her in a coma for a few weeks. So she thinks this is her chance to make things happen in the fashion world that should have but didn't when she was younger.

I liked Rami's dress best -- better than Jillian's Twizler dress. Plus I think that Jillian is a little over confident and she annoys me a bit. Previews for next week show Ricky getting teary eyed AGAIN. Gosh, would someone get this guy a tissue or a spine?

I'm so glad we finally had a new episode last night!

I loved Jillians outfit...honestly, when they kept focusing on her, I thought, you know, she's gonna win this time. Because she certainly wouldn't have been out, since the outfit was cute, and she took a big risk, which the judges always love.

Jillian is becoming my favorite...her and Rami, and Christian. Christian makes the show fun to watch. He reminds me of Austin Scarlett a little.

It's weird how there is no clear cut 'villian' this season.

I knew Eliza would be leaving soon. I think we all did!

I LOVE this season! This is the first season ever where they actually all get along and help each other out. Last night's challenge was definitely my favorite. Some of them were so unique and fun to see!

My favorite contestants so far are Rami, Christian and Jillian. I also realy liked Jack and was sad to see him go for the reason he did.

I don't like Jillian at all. My favorite is Christian and Kevin, but I like Rami and Chris too.

My favorite is Rami, but I like most everyone else. A few get on my nerves at times, having nothing to do with their designing ability. Ricky is constantly crying about something, Sweet P's name bugs me, and I don't like Jillian's cockiness.

I think they get along a bit better because many of them are professionals already. These are not the same amateurs of past seasons.

Loved the Twizzler dress! Looked great, smelled great (I suppose!), and if you get hungry.....

I am glad Eliza is gone. Nothing she said or did made any sense to me.

goofygirl, I totally agree. I really like Rami, but I just thought Jillian's dress was adorable! And Elisa--even when she was describing the dress, I couldn't figure out what she was talking about. Not sorry to see her go!

I hope the final three are Jillian, Rami, and Christian.

Good to hear that Dale and Jack are dating. They both seem like such genuinely nice people.

Austin - that is his name. It has been driving me crazy ever since I saw him on "Real Housewives of Orange County" over the holidays (too much down time - too little to watch). The Housewife shops for her wedding dress at his shop.

Ok - sorry to hijack - back to original programming.

You're all going to be sooooooooooo jealous. Guess what I got for Christmas??

I am finding this season such a welcome change from the last season. I just loathed Jeffrey and Vincent was ... disturbing. But when Jeffrey won, I was unsure if I was going to continue watching the show bec I just hate to see such a repulsive person win. I am glad I gave the show another chance bec this season is so much better. There is no villain to hate and the challenges are so much better. I especially like the number of times they’ve had to design for real people.

Although I would still love to know which woman it was that Tim had to take outside for a talking to bec she was having meltdowns bec she had not believed the challenges she saw on the show were real.

I thought it was an interesting challenge. I would have liked to have seen them work more with the actual candy rather than just ripping up pillows, etc. I did like Chris' outfit though. Rami's was OK. I liked Jillian's dress and thought it was great that at least one person used the candy in the construction of their outfit. I had a bad feeling about Sweet P's since they seemed to focus more on her and Elisa than the others. Kevin's was OK. Elisa's was just awful. She definitely deserved to be sent home.

I think I'm in the minority here because I do not like Christian at all. He comes across as arrogant. I agree completely with what Tim said about Christian in his newest blog entry:

Christian, I suspect, will have a polarizing effect on our viewers. I write this largely out of projection, because I alternate between wanting to give him a big hug and wanting to give him a sobering slap. In a manner that evoked the discovery of penicillin, he believed that the material he chose (hundreds of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup wrappers), coupled with his design (a mini-dress with a halter and choker), would ensure his win.

Furthermore, he was “finished” hours before the deadline. When I found him in the workroom gloating over his achievement and offering spare-time critiques to his fellow designers, I pulled him aside to suggest that he consider giving his design some more time and thought. “I certainly don’t think that you’re going home (and he won the last challenge, so he had immunity), but I’m not as confident as you are that this design is the winner.” If looks could really kill, I would have been a goner.

I think Christian is fun, a bit too full of himself, but I still like him. I think Rami and Jillian will be in the finale, but I'm undecided on who the third will be. I'm thinking either Christian or Kevin, but it looks like Christian may have some problems on next weeks episode. :scared1: :confused3

I thought Jillian's dress was the best last night. She really took the project for what they should have done. But I love Rami. He's my fave so far. Thank goodness Eliza is gone. She should have been done the first week IMO.

So, how many thought as soon as Ricky started to talk to his mom on the phone, "You are next!"

I don't know what Kevin was thinking, making a dress without any support for the model's "girls."
