I thought Ricky should have gone over Kit, but unfortunately the judges were taking it out on the team leaders. My dream finale would be Christian, Chris and Sweat Pea, only because I like their personalities the best. I'm starting to have doubts about Rami, he better come up with something different and soon. He's starting to remind of those Brady Bunch spoof movies when Mike Brady kept designing every building to look like his 70's ranch. Anyone remember that?

I was happily surprised that Chris and Christian won last night. I was positive that Viktorya and Jillian would get the nod. I do have to say, that coat was amazing, spectacular, incredible and unbelievable. I didn't think the 'everyday' dress had much at all to do with the outfit it was patterned after. Other than being black and using a bit of the plaid, where was the connection?

I wish Chris had gotten the win. I doubt that Christian would have been able to execute that dress without him. (How the heck was he able to keep the wires holding up that collar from collapsing??) Still, it was great that both of them were featured in the photo shoot.

I was thinking the same thing, I didn't see any connection at all. I think they ran out of time and just threw something together. I did love their other outfit.


I was also thinking that Ricky's dress reminded me of Isaac Mizrahi for Target.

I agree with your choice of final 3. And Rami is beginning to look like a one-trick-pony.

By the way, looking at Team Fierce's dress, I guess my prediction of parachute was partially correct.

YAY!! Chris and Christian won (even though Christian got the immunity). Christian is my favorite, now that Kevin is gone. Rami has slipped from grace as far as I am concerned. He may make beautiful clothes but last night proved he is a one trick pony (like Uli).

I ADORED the coat Victorya and Jillian made, but the second look was meh. I am also TIRED of Jillian's whining and "time management" problems.

I just watched the show this evening and loved this episode - great to see couture versus everyday wear.

I agree that Ricky should have gone instead of Kit. She has a lot of potential, and Ricky just isn't up to standards. Man, if I were on that show, I would NEVER be a team leader because regardless of who's fault it is for the ruined dress - the team leader goes home!

I also ADORED Victoria and Jillian's coat - I would wear it tomorrow! No really, I am going to Disney tomorrow (day trip) and it is supposed to be mid-60s and cloudy all day. I would be stomping around the parks in my black knee boots, skinny pants, and that coat! Disney is my runway!

But their everyday dress just made them lose it. They could have done a very simplified military coat dress instead. When I saw the jacket and pants, I thought of so many possibilities - shame. But I guess I am being a couch-designer. Easy for me to say.

I also just saw the show last night and loved Chris and Christian's dress! I liked the coat that Victorya and Jillian made but "The Dress" was fabulous. I agree that Chris is incredibly talented and he would know how to take all of the material and make it stand, sit, or play dead, but Christian can sew and he can sew fast and accurately. That was an edge that the girls did not have. He also has vision and was able to collaborate with Chris so when looking for something Avant Garde those two were unbeatable. I would have loved to see Chris win because he is now my favorite...I love a comeback kid

Rami can design but he cannot see to step out of his box and he was not able to step out to let his partner in. I was cringing when he insisted on micromanaging Sweet P. It is not acceptable to reduce someone to tears.

I can't wait until next week!

I am just so tired of Jillian's whining. Even the previews for next week show her complaining. I used to like her, not anymore. I'm hoping that Chris wins. I love his portfolio, it's hysterical.

This happens to me too. Go into the settings of your DVR and change it so it records 5 minutes after the show has ended.

I think if you record the model show, you will still get cut off af the Auf because that is when that show is over. It will probably stop recording for a couple minutes then pick up the model show.

Play around w/ the settings.

The first show cuts off and the second show picks up at exactly the same second. You don't lose a couple of minutes between shows.

My DVR will allow me to alter one show's time but will not allow me to set all shows to record for 65 minutes. My best bet would be what the PP suggested and record PR and the model show.

I think what Victoria and Jillian should have done is used the shirt from the first outfit since you didn't know she had it on underneath the coat and then did a second pair of pants to make them more alike. It would have been more time efficient

I'm bored with Victorya. Not only does she have zero personality, but I thought it was really pathetic when she told the judges, "we did 3 pieces, so we should win! (nervous fake giggle)" Although I liked the coat, I'm glad they didn't win. Yay Chris, he finally got to make his parade float. Their dress was great!

Not sure about your DVR but our can be adjusted to start 1 min before and end 2 min later that way we see EVERYTHING. Check your options, it's what I had to do to see it all.

The lesson of the show obviously was to "LISTEN TO TIM GUNN!" I really wish Chris had listen to Tim about the fray.

Loved Ricky's dress and Christian's jeans.

I think Christian and Rami are locked in for the final 3. I would love to see Chris in the finale, but I worry that he hasn't been very consistent. He seems to bounce from the dated looks and the costumey looks with occasional bursts of lovely, wearable designs. I'm not too crazy about Jillian, and it looks like she's going to crack anytime under the stress. Ricky pulled out a great design, but can he build on it and create a momentum? Sweet P has done some nice things, so I wouldn't be disappointed if she makes to Bryant Park.

I wasn't at all surprised by tonight's elimination. She's always been pretty boring to me.

I haven't been a big fan of Ricky, but I was really happy for him tonight. His dress was awesome and you could tell he really put a lot of himself into it.

I agree that Christian will definitely be going to Bryant Park. I'm not absolutely sure who else, but I'm guessing Rami and Jillian. I like Chris and Sweet P both better as people, and they've both had some really great designs, but I don't know if I see their "point of view," as the judges would say. Especially Sweet P, she seems to go in different directions all the time.

Also, Kit would have rocked this challenge. She was my favorite and I was so disappointed that she was auf'd last week.
