Project Runway Season 4: Discussions & Spoilers

I know what you mean. I felt so bad for Chris last night, I wanted to hug him.

I know, me too! He was such a nice guy :guilty: This is really the ONLY show where I genuinely like everyone. Even Elisa. She may be living in outer space, but she's still a great person :lmao:

Normally when people are kicked off reality shows it's like haha get off my TV! :lmao: This is the only show where I genuinely feel bad for people for getting kicked off. I have no idea why - I guess everyone's just so likeable.
I agree. Poor Chris!

I'm glad the next week will be back to individual challenge--unless they come up with a creative way of dividing 11 people into groups.

Yes, I like the individual challenges better! :)

There seems to be no "villian(s)" in this season's group, unlike previous seasons.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
You mean Denise Huxtable, interpreting Gartrelle.

THANK YOU! I have been trying to remember what TV show had the person who designed the awful shirt with mismatched collars even since this episode and now you have reminded me. Sorry Bill Cosby wasn't around to buy Tiki Barber a REAL shirt.

I don't know. Victorya is starting to annoy me. I thought that she was pretty pushy with her design, wanted to be in charge but that she did not want to take responsibility if she was the leader. I was surprised that she gave Ricky credit for the way her outfit fit the model. I'm not liking her at all.

I agree. You beat me to it! ;)

I don't like "team" challenges. Too many people wanting to be in charge. Of course they all have a different design style and point of view, or the judges wouldn't have selected them for the show. Who'd want to watch 15 designers produce the same cookie cutter type dress?

I just think the team challenges define the word challenge. They do not showcase an individual's best work and I much prefer to see them sink or swim on their own merits.

I am liking this season much better than last season bec while Victorya is a pushy broad, there is no one remotely like the SoulStank aka Jeffrey of last year. I could barely stand to watch that cretin, so t really ticked me off when Jeffrey won last year. I have vowed that I will stop watching reality shows with nasty pieces of pond scum like him ever again -- too often IRL SoulStanks come out on top so I don't need to see that in my entertainment.

The fact that she gave Ricky some credit gave her some redemption in my eyes. We will see. :rolleyes1

Totally agree.

What do you think this big "emotional announcement" will be this week??

I think it has something to do with Jack’s HIV-positive status. I wonder if his inhibitors aren't working well or something that affects his energy level and ability to participate.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

I hope he is okay. I like him. I actually like most of them this year, even quirky Elisa.

MTE on the "big deal" this week. Esecially since they mentioned the HIV thing last week, and how he's been dealing with it for 17 years.

And Elisa has an interesting sense of style--like her first dress, if it hadn't had that weird train, from the front, it was really pretty and well-tailored.

I was sorry to see Chris go, too--he seemed like he was a lot of fun.

So glad to see Chris get the chance to come back even though it wasn't under good circumstances for Jack.

I agree - I really loved Chris - I was very excited last night to see him come back. I just wish Jack would also be able to come back, it is always the really good designers/models/actors (depending on the type of show) that have to leave for various reasons too early!

Me watching the show last night:

Jack leaves! :sad1:

Chris is Back! :cheer2:

Tim Gun makes an inadvertent double entendre! :lmao:

Chris is in the Bottom 3!

I think Jack should, at the very least, be invited back next season if it can't be done for this season. Unless it is the stress and long hours that are unhealthy for him.

Anyone who leaves for reasons unrelated to the show should be able to come back the next season on any show.

Oh that would be so lovely if Jack were invited back. I really liked him. When he announced that he had to leave I had an inkling that perhaps Chris would show up.

I agree. They let Daniel Vosovic come back for the second season after he was "out" in the first season.

They should definitely let Jack back next season.
