Project Runway Season 4: Discussions & Spoilers

I love this show! I'm watching it and setting the DVR for my DD because it's a little late for her.

I just never "got" Jeffery's style or sense of taste. Aside from being a raging jack-youknowwhat, I thought his clothes were heinous.

I never liked him. I second the jack-youknowwhat label. :lmao:

I liked what I saw tonight.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I enjoyed the first show a lot. It's hard to keep track of 15 new faces, but they did a good job giving most of them enough screen time. I had a pretty good handle on them by the end of the show.

Christian sure reminded me of Chris Kattan playing "Mango" on Saturday Night Live. He was an interesting guy, and it looks like he'll be there for the long haul.

When Chris (the heavy guy) walked in to the apartment, DW said "Wow, Ricky Gervais has really let himself go!" :happytv:

I don't remember her name, but the perfomance artist with the "train wreck" design is really bizarre. She won't be around much longer.

Oh, I think they'll keep her around for the drama effect she causes. They'll keep playing off the fact she's "creative" and has potential.

Thought the first show started off good for this season. I can't wait for the drama to begin.

I was persoanlly a little let down by the premiere...I dunno, but they just didn't seem to be as good as previous casts.

I HATED that thing Christian did...yuck. My friends and I watch this every episode and were talking about how we thought he'd be on his way out...yikes.

I agree with who they voted off, but I dunno...maybe the long layoff had me hoping for more.

I liked Michael (I'm a big guy too...big guy power!) -- I liked one or two others, but most of the people seemed flat and uninteresting...and the designs were kinda boring....

here's hoping for more!

Cheers,
Josh

I wish the show was on earlier! Its getting harder and harder to stay-up late enough to watch it! It looks like it will be an interesting year. I would have agreed with either of the last two being sent home last night. I loved what Heidi said about the blue dress pooing!!

So glad this show is starting up--and just in time, with the writer's strike and all!

Bravo reruns a LOT during the day. Not to mention, they run last week's episode right before the new one, the week before's right before that, etc. So, if you miss a week, it's easy to catch up.

I'm glad the guy from Jeruselam won(Rami?). Ouch. He's easy on the eyes.
And the dress was pretty too! :thumbsup2

Sure glad to hear that since I fell asleep and missed the last 30 mins of it. By the sounds of alot of them there will be alot of drama this year. Love this show.

Love the Ricky G. comment.:rotfl:

When the "train wreck" designer started blathering on about natural and organic and spiritual, I told my family that whether on Project Runway or Top Chef, those type of contestants usually don't last too long.:rolleyes1

Loved it! Early favorites are Chris, Kevin and Rami. We'll have to see if that remains the case.

But this guy already has his own store in LA. I was a little disappointed that most of these candidates seemed like professional designers already.

:lmao: Perfect! I'm not sure I'm going to like his work much, but he'll be entertaining.

:lmao: Love your comments about Christian and Chris, although I was thinking Nathan Lane, not Ricky Gervais when I saw Chris.

I didn't hate any design. I even kind of liked Elisa's dress minus that literal train-wreck.

I DVR'd this and watched it yesterday. WOW, I must say the dress of the guy who won is was fab but I agreed with Michael Kors, that flower had to go.

I can't wait till next week's show and what happens, the previews looked great.

I'm so glad Bravo repeats the episodes on the weekends- I can't stay up that late on school nights! Any guesses on who the surprise judge might be?

This is my first season, DD12 had her tonsils out fri & we were up at midnight watching it. I'm hooked :thumbsup2

I agree she is colorful & they will try & keep her as long as they can.

I think they made a good decision to let that girl go. I think she left and not the train wreck girl because her construction was poor. And really, I kinda liked the blue dress minus the tail. Thought the color was pretty and loved the sleeves. Hated those blue boots though. Eeeek!

Promising start to a good season I think!
