My "baby boy" turns 15 today so my POTD will revolve around him. Even tho he is now over 6' tall he will always be my baby..

Happy Birthday to you DS! ;)

Today's photo will be a flag and a photo of my cousin who is in the Army.

Happy Birthday (a day late) to your DS! I know the feeling about your son always being your baby! I can't believe there will come a time (not too far away) that my DS will be taller than me! He already has bigger feet than me!

Sadly, my POTD for Wed. was of the grave we had to dig for DD's guinea pig. One of them died unexpectedly yesterday. She was, of course, devastated. And the other GP seems so sad and lonely today. I'm afraid she might die of a broken heart!.........P

Oh, so sorry about your guinea pig! :( We have had to bury way too many of our pets already. Dd10 recently lost her hamster and she was devastated. One thing we do is buy unfinished boxes at AC Moore and use them as coffins. We draw all over the box and write our feelings for the deceased. And then I take pictures of the box - one of my POTD was hammy's box). It has helped the kids with the grieving process.

We also have them all (birds, hamster, lizard and one cat) buried in the woods in the back - I can't watch the movie Pet Cemetery... :scared1:
