Has anyone taken advantage of this offer? Was thinking of doing this in Aug.
You get Professional Portrait sittings at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa for $49.95 plus tax. Sounds like a good offer. I would love to hear from anyone who did this....

I'd love to hear from others as well. We're thinking of doing this for our party of 10 over Thanksgiving week. I did notice the write up at http://stitchkingdom.com/disneysphotopass/:

Disney Resorts Private Photo Shoot - You can arrange for private 30 minute photo sessions with a Disney's PhotoPass photographer at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian or Saratoga Springs Resort. The sessions includes around 40 photos (limited only by time) taken around the picturesque resorts and their beaches. Pricing is as follows: $49.95 for a Disney's PhotoPass card containing your photos which can then be added to your disneyphotopass.com account; $124.95 (or save 20% by pre-ordering - see details below) which will get you a PhotoCD with your images. If you choose to get the PhotoCD, you can save your receipt and CD and exchange it later on during your vacation for a new PhotoCD containing all of your Disney's PhotoPass images. The only catch is you won't be able to make enhancements to any of the photos; or bring the required proof that you pre-ordered the PhotoCD and the cost is only $25 (for the first session only, subsequent sessions are the normal rate of $49.95 per session). Reports from guests who have participated in the photo sessions are overwhelmingly positive. Available times are seasonal, starting daily at 8 am until 7 pm or sunset, whichever comes first. Call 407-824-1700 to make reservations up to 30 days in advance or for additional information.

Doug,
This seems to be different from the one I am referring to. Here are the details I got from the DVC member web site --

Member portrait offer available through August 15

Professional Portrait sittings are available now at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa for $49.95 plus tax, and Disney Vacation Club Members may take advantage of a special, limited-time offer.

Through August 15, 2008, Members who book a sitting at this location will receive a complimentary photo package that includes one 6-inch-by-8-inch photo and four 4-inch-by-6-inch photos from their session.

Guests have a variety of options following a photo session at the resort, from purchasing prints or a photo CD at the Disney's PhotoPass desk near The Artist's Palette gift shop (the desk is open daily from 8 a.m.-dusk) to simply using their Disney's PhotoPass card to access and purchase their photos online after they return home.

To schedule a session, call (407) 934-4004, and remember to bring your Disney Vacation Club Member ID card to your session to receive the special offer.

we did the photo shoot on the 4th of July. The photos came out beautiful. I did the 49.99 package and the cm was so nice he gave us extra poses for free and multiples of them. I thought that was so nice. we walked around the resort, i especially liked it when we had to sit on the grass and the photographer was telling us about the snake they had earlier in the am and how it had to be removed by pest control:scared:

Torontogal,

Yes, the discount is different, but I believe the photo session is the same. I'll miss the DVC promo, but to be honest I think the discounted CD has more appeal to me. Please let us know how it goes! I'm seriously considering this photo shoot since we'll have family from across the country.

Are there any experience with larger parties? We'll have a party of 10.
