Speaking of edibles, back when I was in high school there was some banana cookies that were awesome.
They were banana shaped and had chocolate on the bottom. I don't know what name brand made them, but I know they were made with Chiquita bananas. Anyone remember these?

Reynolds used to make a foil cooking bag - now they only sell plastic ones - yuck!

YES! They made these foil bags - they were huge and worked so well on the BBQ. We used to fill it with chicken and veggies and potatoes and butter and slices of lemon and fresh herbs... seal it all up and cook it on the BBQ for about an hour... dump the whole thing in a bowl and it was SO wonderful.

No more bags. Can't make it anymore. SIGH.

I miss the Wisk laundry detergent tablets. No measuring, just throw in the washer. They were great for taking to WDW to do a load while on vacation. No worry of leakage and easy to pack.

Love's "Rain" Soft perfume... that was always my favorite perfume. I don't care for the Baby Soft, but sure wish I could find the Rain.

Revlon Outrageous shampoo/conditioner.

They haven't sold it in about a decade, but the smell was ADDICTIVE, and it lingered like perfume. My DH used to love it... and so did I.

I just bought the Purex laundry sheet- no measuring and it's FLAT! That's coming with us to disney. I am going to do a test run though to make sure we are not allergic to it. (some sensitive skin here)

For me it's always shampoo- Sheer Blonde - by John Frieda- they changed the formulation and now I hate it.

Oh but what I really really miss- Pepperidge farm used to make these broccoli/ cheddar little pastry things- They came 2 to a pack. And they were DELICIOUS! (they must have been so bad for you- ) but they disappeared. I was told Pepperidge no longer makes them.
I miss you little yummy veggie!

And usually makeup- I love a color then it gets discontinued. Lancome was always my favorite- as they often didn't do this- but alas they cut my favorite eye Khol pencil color.

I still buy that cereal, my ds has loved that for years now! We still have it here.

I grew up with Ammens Medicated Powder & just the scent of it brings back memories I had a hard time finding it when I went back to NY last summer and I have never seen it here in FL

A good site to find older, discontinued products is I have found all kinds of stuff there like Love's Baby Soft, the Coty Musk perfume oil, Psssst Instant Dry Shampoo, etc. They also carry "remakes" of toys, foods, appliances, etc. from days gone by. (Christmas before last, they had a "Chatty Cathy" doll-just like the one I wanted when I was little.

Oh my goodness Psssst Instant Dry Shampoo this stuff saved me when I was in High School...with 5 kids in the family and a Dad (RIP you wonderful man ) that practically held a stop-watch on our shower time
I will definitely have to check out that site if for nothing but the trips down memory lane....thanks for telling us about it
