procrastinators unite-leaving in 9 days

I just got back, but I only packed the day before we left. A day before that, all I had was a list of things not to forget. I think it's easier when you're flying since your space is limited. The fact that I only have to pack for myself makes a big difference, too

We leave Saturday th 11th. Driving down. I'm still trying to put outfits together for the kids (to whom ever suggested putting an entire outfit in a gallon baggie, THANK YOU! brilliant idea), washing the clothes DH and I will need, I haven't started packing yet. I have to clean the house so MIL can come feed the animals. I need to find out what I have to take with the dog when I board him. I need to get a cooler for the trip. I need to go buy everyone a swimsuit. I need to update the address book for post cards, make mousekeeping envelopes, stop panicking...

We are also leaving on the 16th driving down from MA.I have started to pack but.....i have piles of stuff everywhere lists everywhere everytime i sit down i think of one more thing i need to buy or do.We have done the drive many times,this time we will have DD's best friend 16 my 2 DD's 15,9 DH me and a very tall Ds 19,We hope with 2 DVD players and cell phones the ride will be peaceful.
