What is ironic is that the cruise line has done this from day 1, of course, you need to pay for the service.
Some people use the service, others use other options. I guess it was a win for all since the cruise line brought extra people, and while some of those did use Disney, others used other options.
Taking the Disney greeters away won't solve the issue of 5,000 people using the service daily. How many of the 5,000 wasn't already book for the program. I would suspect just a handful. In that case, maybe they will get one or two more fares here or there ... but the main or bulk of the problem won't go away.
Just like that nice 8 plex movie theatre. When a new 15 plex is built across the street, it has a drastic impact. But that is competion.
It's impacted the rental car companies too ... but we haven't seen there law suit yet.
