You guys have helped me out plenty and I feel like I know some of you.

Anyway, I'm trying to plan our 10 days in Disney. We leave in about two weeks and I've made some ressies but I can't for the life remember how I went about picking which park, which day, etc.
How do you guys pick where you will go? Do you base it on the time the park is open to? The parades, what? I've got three days planned. I need to get cracking.

Hi Hon
For me personally I plan on parks according to EMH if staying at a Disney Resort,,now that being said there are times when I've planned something special like the "Wishes Dessert Party "at Magic Kingdom on a day when
there are no EMH (Extra Magic Hours) at Magic Kingdom.
I travel with my older sons (22-26) and they really enjoy the evening extra magic hours as they like to sleep in and use the resort pools. Now when I traveled last March with my grand daughter I planned early morning park visits and then afternoon back at OKW resort and then we did stuff at the resort in the evening while her mom and dad went back to the park or DTD.
Happy planning to you.

Hugs Mel

Look at the the official WDW website for park hours and EMH
There are 2 schools of thought:
1 Stay away from the park w/ EMH due to higher crowds there
2 You get excellent lines when there's only resort guests during EMH

Personnally I like to get my money's worth and we go to the park w/ EMH and get there at least 20 minutes before to wait for the ropes to drop (Especially important at DHS for TSM)

All those things put together can help you decide what day to go to what park. THey are only putting fantasmic on on a few nights so that can influence things too.

Good luck- we are going in about 2 weeks too!
