Probably a dumb question

I am almost too embarassed to ask but I'd rather know now so here goes...

Can my 5yo take her pillow pet as her personal item? It's really no bigger than a backpack. Flying US Air, if that matters.

As long as it will fit under the seat in front of her it can be taken as her personal item.

Yes, she can take it. I was wondering the same thing. We're flying alaska air and they don't even count pillows toward your carryon baggage allowance since they no longer provide them on the planes after the flu outbreak. Your airline may be different. I would bring a plastic bag to put it in, in case you do have to put it under the seat in front of you
