I voted pro choice but I think the time limit should be lowered.

It's also disturbing that you can now buy a genda testing kit that detects the sex of the baby at six weeks. This WILL lead to more abortions by people who don't want what they've got.

I'm a woman, and you honestly can't convince me there is EVER a good reason for abortion. A baby is a baby inside or outside the body.

That is your opinion. But many people disagree with it. You don't ever have to have an abortion. But why should you get to decide that no one else should have one?

No one will ever be able to convince me that I should not have an abortion because they don't believe in it. I do not believe that a 3 week fetus is a baby. I think it is a baby when it is born. But I am not going to force anyone else to believe that.

They may be able to make abortion illegal, but they will not be able to stop women from having one. I am all for keeping them safe and legal and letting women decide for themselves.

But, I'll explain. Yes I've known rape victims. No I don't believe abortion should be legal for them. Neither did they.

mom's life in danger: I think the baby should be delivered by c-section. Ever seen Birthday on the Health Channel? They can go pretty fast when they need to. Some of them have taken 5 minutes or less. You can't tell an abortion can be performed quicker. If the baby's delivered at least its been given a chance. I'm not so heartless as to let the mother die. That would just be insane.

Last time I checked i wasn't sitting on the Supreme Court. So I don't get to decide. The OP asked for my opinion as well as yours and I gave it. Its not a debate with me. This is how i feel. I knew perfectly well I'd get flamed, but that's fine. I've said my piece and that's that.

You think a pregnancy that is not viable should result in the mother having a c-section for a baby that cant survive outside the womb? Example: The fetus is 12 weeks and the mother has a life threatening condition that will only resolve with the termination of her pregnancy. You believe they should give her a c section and deliver the baby? I see no difference between this and an abortion.
