Prioritizing Tickets

I searched this forum and couldn’t find the answer to this question. I have a 5 day parkhopper and a Magic Key Pass. I want to use the parkhopper for my upcoming trip and activate the MKP later. How do I prioritize the parkhopper? Do I just make sure the scan the barcode for that ticket at the turnstile or do I need to call Guest Services before the trip? TIA!

You just have them scan the PH instead of the pass. Super simple.

Plus your pass I'm guessing wouldn't have a reservation (as you wouldn't have set one up) so wouldn't work for entry anyways. Reservations are tied to the entry media, not the account.

Thank you! I haven’t been back to Disneyland since it reopened and I keep forgetting about park reservations. I did make them, though.

FYI, I had 2-day tickets and my Magic Key both in the app. You choose every time you make a park reservation, etc. buy checking boxes. The icons were slightly different but same color and it did not state "ticket" or "Magic key". I had to go to Guest Services to remove the tickets from my account. I was terrified to choose the wrong one and accidently activate the wrong ticket!

That's odd. I have my two passes and a friend's ticket in my account right now. It specifies on the reservation page what each one is by name and also has them separated by the reservation window (90 days versus 120 days). Been like that since the 25th. So weird!
