I have been trying trying trying to print back to back passport pages in word. I now have it lined up vertically but off by 1/8 of an inch horizontally because the pictures are not printing the exact size (off by 1/8 of an inch)

It's driving me nuts.

How does everyone do this?

I could bring it to Staples and pay someone else to just do it of course :rotfl:

Here is what I did:-

I inserted a picture and using "picture tools" I put it in the centre top of the page. I had to uncheck "Lock aspect ratio" and "Relevant to original picture size", to enable me to personalise the page size.

The paper/cardstock in the printer needs to be inserted exactly, gently pushing together the paper guides so that the paper feeds through the printer the same way every time.

I tried all sorts of ways but found this to be the best. My double sided passport pages came out exactly right. I posted a thread with photos of my Epcot passport. I am really pleased with it.

Hope this helps.

Would you mind posting a link to your thread? :goodvibes

I never use word for pictures. You can just highlight all the jpeg ages and change your preferences in the printer tool.
