Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear all of this. What a miserable way to start a long holiday weekend. Your whole family will be in our thoughts and prayers this weekend. I know it has been a crappy couple of weeks with back-and-forth progress with a sick little girl who just wants to feel better and you are all tired and exhausted from this stressful time in your lives. Hang in there. Sunshine on the horizon--it just has to be!

Friday update!

Surgery was postponed until tomorrow, not sure when, we just know tomorrow.

Thank you all for your kind and uplifting comments, hugs and support. It truly does mean a lot.

I felt sick to my stomach all day yesterday and today is much of the same. I am feeling so deflated and nervous, I am so worried about her. Peanut is brave and strong and I am so proud of her strength, and determination. I worry about her giving up, and giving in to everything going on around her. I am scared of that day, and hope it never comes.

I am thinking nothing but good thoughts for Peanut and your family. I can only begin to imagine how devastated you must be with this latest unfortunate development. I am sorry you are so sick over this, but I understand completely. I wish I could take all your hurt away. Peanut is so lucky to have you for her Mother.
