Princess Marathon 2014

I'm doing the 5k this year and was wondering about transportation. My family and I are staying at AKL so do we drive to the race or do we have to take special transportation? I'm confused on all of this

You could drive, but bus transportation is available and is easier.

This is from the RunDisney.com website:

Disney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend Event Transportation has been arranged for those staying at select Event Host Resorts [all WDW Resorts]. Buses will be indicated by event transportation signs placed in the front windows and will run every 20 minutes from Walt Disney World® Resorts

Please note, Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Transportation is only provided to and from Walt Disney World Resorts. If you are staying at a Resort on property, please check with your front desk for a pick-up location. Participants staying at a Walt Disney World Resort are strongly encouraged to use the event transportation to all Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend events.
