Ok this is a really weird question but here it goes....Last year we went to the princess dinner I believe in Norway at Epcot. Many little girls were dressed up like the various princesses. My daughter and her friend were like "Wow we should have dressed up". We just laughed at them due to the fact they were 16 and 15 years old (who frequently are mistaken for much older) Ok, now we are going again this year and now they are 17 and 16 and think they are going to dress up. I did not see ANY older girls dressed up. My daughter dressed up as Snow White for Halloween and pulled if off so well little girls were asking her if she really was Snow White. Well, they are determined to dress up this time. They are both crazy girls and love to have way to much fun at times....any suggestions.

Oh, why not? Let them have their fun.

Mind you, they may get little ones coming up to THEM for autographs and pictures!

I love the idea, but can´t help but wonder whether they will be allowed into the parks in a costume? I believe there is some rule about adults not being allowed to dress up, can someone verify?

I believe the cut off age for "costumes" in the parks is 12. This would include them dressing as princesses.

Adults are not permitted to wear costumes in the parks except for the MK parties (and even then, if your daughter might be mistaken for the Disney Snow White they probably would say she had to change). I would think at that age, they'd be considered adults. Disney would prefer that they not be mistaken for actual Disney princesses.

Nothing wrong with them wearing tiaras or other costume accoutrements though.

(There's one other exception to the no adults in costume rule - Star Wars Weekends.)

I had no idea! I can see why, for the very reason I posted about, but I didn't realise there was a rule.

Sorry to have replied in a misleading way.

I was wondering about all this also. They would love to dress up but I was wondering about the "rules"...oh well, they will have to just settle for a crown or something like that.
