Thank you and I went over to your PTR and read a little, but it's getting late and I need to get to bed. I can't wait to be able to sit down and read it, though! I totally need some healthy recipes and getting fit for Disney tips!

Thank you!! Everyone who came by the bake sale had to ask what they were. They were usually surprised to learn that they are just balls of cake and icing covered in candy melts and decorated. I found them from www.bakerella.com (she is AMAZING!) and I making them.

I don't remember how it was brought up at all, but yesterday Aaron and I started talking about the Characters In Flight at DTD. It looks really cool and we'll be at the DTD Marketplace but didn't know if it would be worth heading over there or if we should just stick with shopping. Has anyone done this? What do you think... was it worth the money? Were there long waits for it? Any help would be great... TIA!!!

I've never done CiF but we are definately planning to do it when we go. You just have to be aware that if the weather isn't PERFECT they will shut it down. I've read reports that there was no wind on the ground but they still shut it down due to wind at the flight altitude. We know going in that it's a maybe so the kids won't be too disappointed if it doesn't work out.

i am curious to the replies you get to this-- i want to also try this for the first time this year I was going to try it last year but it was too windy the balloon was not going up i am going to try again this year depending on if its worth it

Hello! sorry I have been offline the last few weeks and I am trying to catch up now. It struck me while I was reading about your plans, how we are looking at being at the same place around the same time. : Definitely should see if they stay the same once we get closer to see if we can work something out. It would be great!! We will use the water taxis to go to DTD too--it is so peaceful and I think a nice way to travel. The cookies turned out really cute!

Oh no! I just read that you had to switch your dates--so sad we won't be able to meet up after all!! I don't blame you for wanting not to fly out on Saturday if it is easier for all parties involved. I am sad but maybe another time. :

Love the ADRS. Rainforest Cafe, we used to eat there occasionally when we live in IL. There was one not too far away. If you go there often enough, their membership is worth the money as you get a free app or so much off your bill.

I am toying around with Characters in Flight...it is so weather and time dependent. I think we will end up passing this go around. I have read lots discussing it but I do not believe I have read about anyone's experience with it yet.

I know, I was really sad when I realized I was looking at the wrong dates. But you're right, another time. I have a feeling this won't be the last trip for either of us or anything.

Oh cool, I didn't know they had a membership. I have a feeling if we end up moving to Florida in about a year that we might need that! Or even if we move to California... if there is still a RFC in DLR's DTD. Something to look into at least. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I've searched on here for other people's experiences but haven't found too much. It's not high on our must-do list or anything so we'll probably just see when we get there. I mean, all this thought I'm putting into it and it might just end up being a breezy night and they won't be going up anyway! Last night we had our movie night! We did Princess and the Frog. We had another family over for it, too. Here is our table...

Each person got some beads to wear. Here is our kitchen island that I decorated, too.

The frog on the left was just a chocolate frog that I got on sale the day after Valentine's Day. When I saw it I grabbed it specifically for when we had Princess and the Frog night!

I wish I had remembered to take pictures of dinner. Aaron made a delicious meal of gumbo, hush puppies, and corn. I made a few frog cake pops for dessert.

Sorry the pictures are so blurry. I knew they weren't perfect but didn't realize how bad they were until I saw them this big! Oh well, worse things have happened!

After dinner we all went into the living room and watched the movie! It was a lot of fun. Our friends that we invited over had never seen the movie so we were excited to share it with them. We're thinking in a couple of weeks we'll have Alice in Wonderland night!

Thank you! I am having so much fun with these movie nights. I didn't have a chance to plan an activity for yesterday, but our friends could only stay for a few hours so there wouldn't have been time anyway. Now I just need to figure out something for our next one!

Oh, trust me, I forget to look at people's signatures all the time! Then every so often I'll just get the urge to go find new PTR's or TR's and, come to find out, a couple of people I talk to have them!
