President's Week or Week before Easter

Which one is going to be worse? I am so disappointed, I was supposed to go the last week of March and the new person at my office kindly informed me yesterday that she is going to Europe for two weeks at that time. No way in h-e-double hockey sticks they will let me take it off now.

So my options look to be President's Week or the week of April 10th. What would you do?

I think both weeks will be very busy. The main difference in the crowds will be that if you go President's Day week, the crowds will get lighter each day you are there. If you go the week of April 10 the crowds will get heavier each day you are there.

Thanks. I just figured out that my Seasonal AP will not work the April week anyway.

I have been there both times and pres week was less crowded. This year some of NY's schools aren't off for the whole week so this should help. Have a great time.

I went the week before Easter last year...it was sooo packed (I am used to going at the end of October). I will never go at that time again...the lines were way too long.

I went last year during president's week, and it was crowded but manageable. Like another poster said, it does get less crowded as the week goes on.
