During my last visit there, the cast member announced that the Seal is on display at only three places....does anyone know the other place???

It is not the Presidential Seal, but is The Great Seal of the United States. Not sure about where else it can be, but Disney had to get Congress to approve the use in WDW.

I'm sure Google can give you a lot more info on it, and where it is. I know I wasn't much help.

I think it's the white house and the podium when the president speaks. I certainly could be wrong though.

I think they may be referring to non-official uses for it Because the Great Seal is displayed in a lot more than just 3 places.

I'm pretty sure the Presidential Seal can only be displayed where the President will be (podium, his office, etc.) and also on certain correspondence from the President. There are similar seals that are used (including the one at WDW HOP but as a PP said, the actual Presidential Seal is not at WDW.

If I recall the third is in Philadelphia. I remember asking a cast member the same question a couple of years ago, and I think that is what she told me.

Ok I guess they are referring to it being on a carpet when they say it's only in three places. Because the Great Seal is used in a lot of places including on every dollar bill. I found this on Buzzfeed so take that for what it is worth. Refer to number 18.

Of course they even call it the Presidents Seal which is incorrect. The photo even shows "The Great Seal" in the carpet around the seal.

its only found officially at the liberty bell in philly and the oval office other that DW.

And that is why no person should stand on it.

There are few "pomp and circumstances" instances in the US but this is one of them. Not highly publicized but it is there.

really? I have lived in Philly my whole life and have only been to the liberty bell once 22 years ago for a class trip.

:rotfl: Same here. Lived here my whole life and I think I last saw the Liberty Bell was 5th grade (and that was a LONG time ago!...)
I guess New Yorkers never visit the Statue of Liberty... :lmao:
