Well now that we got APs for our 2 planned trips, they're burning a hole in my pocket and I'm beginning to think of other times we can go to Disney to use our APs.

I've always avoided the known "busy" weeks which surround holidays or school vacations, however it looks like if we want to get in extra trips we will have to go during one of those times...

So based on your experiences, if you had the following times to choose to go to WDW which would you choose and why...

President's Week

Easter Vacation (looks like next year son's Easter break will be week after Easter and Easter is early April - the 5th I believe)

Long Memorial Day Weekend (Leave Thursday evening before Memorial day and come back Tues or Wed after Memorial day). We'd have to take DS out of school for a few days to do this, but all his state tests will be complete and school will be winding down (his last day is usually around June 26).

Thanks...

We are semi-local (in Tampa), so are there with some frequency. Of the three dates, the only time that I haven't done is Easter Week, and I am thinking I am NOT brave enough to do anytime soon either. But my youngest has a birthday at Memorial Day timeframe, so we are there for that every year. Last year was by far the busiest we saw, which I think was the 24 hr day at MK as much as anything, but they are doing that again this year, and we are planning to be there for it as well as for Star Wars Weekend. I would say, of your options, President's week is likely the lightest for crowds, for what that is worth. But Easter and Christmas weeks are the 2 busiest weeks of the entire year, and park closures are fairly common then. I'm not quite willing to brave those crowd levels.

Thanks...I thought President's week was pretty bad as well...but I'm learning not every state closes schools that week.

I like the idea of President's week because usually by Feb. I'm tired of winter in NY and can use a nice break. DH is uncertain about Feb. because if we have a bad winter like this year, flights might be cancelled or delayed and the only time we went in Feb. (not Pres. week) it was cold there...cold enough to have to walk around the park with many layers of clothes and gloves....well we have time to figure it out...thanks!
