As some as you guys know, im in college to become a teacher--hopefully kindergarten or first grade...
Im trying to get started on my end of the semester project, and i was hoping to get some ideas here..
Our assignment is to make a binder of activities that i would be able to do with children (were doing preschool for this project--4 year olds specifically.) The part of it that makes it more difficult is they give us standards and we have to make sure each activity relates to each standard ...like some of the standards are 1)Children can demonstrate self confidence through this activity or 2)Children identify and express feelings..

Anyone have any good websites that i could find some ideas on? The teacher that i work with has given me a ew ideas and they are great, and i have found some websites but i have a ton of activities to find..thanks in advance!!

Thanks i just posted on the other homeschool list..as soon as im done with another part of homework ill be searching all of those! thanks!!

Dr.Jean.org

Dr. Jean is this awesome little lady who does workshops. She's got the best, most fun ideas around. And her music CD's are great!! If you can ever go to workshop, do it!! She's so good!!

Thank you so much guys..i cant wait to go through them..

Mickey65, im not sure what i need yet..i think its more of activities that i can write down supplies, step by step procedure, and tell how it relates to each expectation ( i have 15 i need to do ) ....if i need more, i hope its okay to PM you!

This is a site for learning letters and othere stuff. You can pretty well take any kind of lesson plan and modify it to get the students to demonstrate self confidence, peer interactions, student/adult interactions, fosusing skills and many more of the early years skills. You just have to get creative with the lessons and think like a kid.

Blue, try looking on the startfall site under "I'm Reading" and then "All About Me." that would work for self confidence I think.

Try searching for an easy maze site or an I Spy kinda thing for attention and focusing.

not sure about the others
