Preferred Pens

What is the pen of choice for autographs? I have read that it is easier for the characters to hold a bigger pen. I am afraid that a Sharpie would bleed through the page of the autograph book.

We used a Sharpie RT (retractable) and it worked fine - no bleeding through the pages. Well, it didn't bleed through to the next page. It did make it so we couldn't use front & back of the same page, but that was no big deal to me.

They sell fat ballpoint pens at the parks (of course!) that work just perfectly. The are usually right beside the autograph books, or at the counters. DD's has pictures of Mickey,etc. on it, and a small mickey head on top. I think it was about $4-5. Also a nice souvenier for her!

We used the fat sharpie, it didn't bleed and the size of it made it easier for the non human characters like Pooh, Mickey etc. to hold.

I just buy a Disney autograph pen when we get there - I think they are $2.50 and they are too cute!

Same here we used the Sharpies and bought the book at the world, no bleeding through the pages at all

We use a sharpie also and found we couldn't use the back of the page but I usually put a picture of the character on the page opposite the autograph so it has always worked out well for us.

We used a variety of flair pens so that my son's book would be multi-colored. They were big enough for even the awkward paws!
