We want to stay at BWV in August. Does booking a preferred view in a studio mean we will have a Boardwalk View, or are there other preferred views associated with studios? Thank you.

Lori

There are 3 types of room classifications for BWV. To get a BW view, you must book a guaranteed BW View. Preferred View is the same point cost, but you have a view of the pool, gardens, etc....except the parking lot, which is the Standard View category. SV rooms are lower point costs.

About 80% of the views are preferred with 20% as standard (front circle, parking lot, etc). A portion of the 80% is the Boardwalk view (guaranteed request). The greatest majority of the view is Luna Park pool, the quiet pool and their surrounding areas.

When you call to book and if you ask for a Boardwalk View and it is available you can book it guaranteed

You can also waitlist for a boardwalk view if it's not available when you first call.

Right! thanks DebbieB

FWIW, I personally liked the Quiet Pool side with a view towards MGM in the distance, and a sort of lateral view to S&D across the canal

We had a preferred view in October and we were looking over the canal, with a view of TOT and Expedition Everest in the distance, with the S/D off to our right.

It was actually a lovely view.
