Predict the end of "Seventh Heaven"; will Simon marry Rose?

So Carlo's showed up at the wedding and skipped Mary's graduation? She was graduating, but was going to be able to make it to Matt/Sarah's graduation, but not the wedding so one would assume that her graduation was the same day as the wedding. Also so the audience knows she is graduating, but not the family.
I really think they blew it and rushed the story, I thought it would be a 2 parter, ending with the graduation or even going into the future for the birth of Lucy's twins.

Maybe the spinoff will be Lucy and Kevin moving off somewhere, or Ruthies adventures a bit in the future. I do not see it being Matt/Sarah (since the actor that plays Matt has his own show)

Anyone else wonder why Martin wasn't there? He wasn't even mentioned. He had become such a big part of the show, I'm surprised he didn't make an appearance.

I have to preface this by saying I have only caught an episode here and there the past few years - not a loyal 7th Heaven watcher by any means and I only caught the last half of the show last night...

but I thought the whole twins here, twins there, twins everywhere thing was just so hokey! I almost felt embarrased for the actors on that part (especially Matt) just waaay over the top.

I agree. Didn't Matt have to say some line like "I'm insanely surprised!!!"

I liked seeing heather, but the scene seemed forced..... "here I brought you a present" ...."Oh I'm sorry we didn't invite you but you can still come"..."Oh its a picture of you and Happy that you probably already have and was taken before I knew you"

It would make more sense if the Happy memories were brought up by someone who was there, and if Heather was dropping off a present because she invited but couldn't attend

I agree. I wonder who wrote this episode?

There were so many people that could have done small guest appearances here and there. Why didn't they do a two hour finale like so many other shows have done? I felt like the whole hour was rushed. In fact, the last couple of episodes also.

I love Matt. He is my favorite character. I enjoyed the scenes with he, Lucy and Simon and with his parents. However, I felt almost uncomfortable with the odd reaction. Definitely over the top. I don't know if it was an acting choice or if he was directed to say it that way.

A lame ending. In fact, I had to rewind it to really figure out that they had called off the wedding. I think they should have showed them calling it off.

I agree with you, I keep thinking that with only 15 minutes to go that maybe this was a 2 hr episode.

I have been reading around the internet that they have officially picked up 7th Heaven for at least 13 episodes next season on CW. Sorry no links-one of the places I read it was the E! Online message board. It would be nice if they could at least do a solid 13 and end with a satisfying finale.

That would be great. I really felt that finale left too many unanswered questions.

Both Simon and Matt said they had forgotten about Matt interupting Heather's wedding and running off with her. Is that something any reasonable person would forget??

New The CW network to resurrect The WB's '7th Heaven' drama

UPI News Service, 05/12/2006

The longest-running family drama in U.S. television history, The WB's "7th Heaven" is about to extend its streak, it was reported Friday.

Although The CW network refused to comment, sources told TVWeek.com Friday that "7th Heaven" will be on the schedule when the new CBS Corp./Warner Bros. network starts its 2006-2007 season.

The report came five days after what was considered to be the finale of the series, which has been a consistent ratings winner for the past 10 seasons.

The WB had announced prior to the merger that The CW network could not afford an 11th season of "7th Heaven," citing the high cost of the production as well as its constantly expanding ensemble cast. However, financial constraints are not a concern for The CW, TVWeek.com noted.

Aaron Spelling produces Brenda Hampton's drama about the trials and tribulations of the Camden family.

What is the CW Network? If it's cable, I won't get to watch anymore.

it's not on cable. Its the WB channel and the UPN channel together. UPN bought out wb. So we will no longer have wb. I read they are getting rid of smallville, reba, charmed and a few others.

This is what they said about reba :

The fifth season finale of the WB's "Reba" may have also been the series finale, it was reported Tuesday.

It was being reported the new CW network -- the melding of The WB and UPN -- does not want the 20th Century Fox show starring country singer Reba McEntire, Zap2it.com reported.

The series starring McEntire as a divorced mother, averaged 3.4 million viewers in its fifth season, down from 4.2 million last year, but second only to UPN's "Everybody Hates Chris," Zap2it.com said.

If the CW does not include "Reba" on its lineup when it is announced May 18, the network will end up paying a sum of more than eight figures to 20th Century Fox, which still has a year remaining on its contract with The WB.

If Seventh Heaven is continued, they have a whole lot of sets of twin babies to hire!!!
