Is the luggage really good? Ireally wanted to buy it for my fiance as a gift but I was so worried as we bought luggage a year ago and the zipper broke

Don't you just love getting fun mail? It's a rarity these days.

Before I forget, I just want to remind you that there are no buses to DTD from any theme park. So if you are thinking that you might want to hit DTD for some shopping on your last day after MK, that could take more time than you bargained for considering the transportation rigamaroll you will have to go through to get there.

That luggage looks like fun! The pins look great. I think I would become a pin horder (sp?) not a pin trader.

Oh. And why can't you talk about work anymore on the Dis? Did I miss something?

The luggage is surprisingly high quality. The zipper pulls are all rubberized and have hidden Mickey's for eyelets. There is also a zippered shoe liner in the two rolling cases. They are pretty heavy duty fabric too. For 50 bucks, you can't beat it. You can get red or blue ones for 10 bucks more.

I am sure your fiance will like them. They are tasteful enough that I would take them on a business trip.

Thanks for the tip--I will consider a cab if I decide to go souvenir shopping after MK.

The luggage is really quite nice. Probably the best Disney bargain out there.

We can talk about work with no problem, but I was going to say the five letter word that begins and ends with ch and ur in the middle. Recently, politics and religion were banned from the DIS because people were not nice in discussing it. I read it on another part of the boards as a sticky.

I just found out through Facebook, that the girl who played Adelaide to my Nathan in Guys and Dolls will be at WDW THE SAME WEEK AS WE ARE GOING!!! She is now married with beautiful children.

it's a small world after all.

If you even think you want new luggage, and you love Mickey, then just get it. I have some D23 shirts coming as well as more member ship stuff, and a personalized pin. I also have the Superstar Disney album coming, with the original artists, and Greatest hits #3. They are supposed to be here tommrow, but with the weather, who knows how UPS ground is doing.

23 days!! I'm gonna break down and start packing this weekend. We are traveling to PA next weekend, then it's Easter so I'll be busy pulling baskets, etc together. I'm at least going to pull out the boys' summer clothes and put some outfits together.

Well, I was a little dissappointed yesterday. We had a snow storm in Colorado-and, well, UPS did not run their local route because the truck did not make it from Commerce City with the goods for my area. So, since we are in the sticks, there is no Saturday delivery. Now I have to wait until Monday afternoon to finish my packages. I am glad that UPS did not try. It was really nasty weather in the morning.

I consoled myself by finishing (yes, I said finishing) all of my pre-trip shopping. I knocked off the rest of my list.

I finally came into the 21st century and bought an RCA Pearl MP3 player (and immediately loaded it with Disney Music) , shorts (I didn't have a single pair), batteries, sunglasses, and some toiletries..

Theoretically, I could be finished with my packing Monday night. Theoretically.

I'll post pics of the Disney stuff when it arrives.

Of course, that's why it's a good thing I live in a South Eastern state.

I did receive 2 CD's and a Couple t-shirts yesterday, but I spent the morning cleaning my apartment instead of DISing. I just looked at my scheduling and datebook for next week. What a mess-and then-It's Easter-then, clean up the mess from Easter and do some extra homework so I don't worry about it on the trip-and BAM-It's Disney.

The snow let up and most of it has melted already. How's the weather in NY?

BTW-----I AM FINISHED PACKING!!!!

The Binder is complete except for what I will print from online check-in for Disney/Boarding Passes.

I had to order a new camera from Target today because my other one finally died after years of faithful service. I was taking pictures of my shirts to post. Poor little Kodak 3.2 megapixel.

His bigger 8.2 megapixel cousin will be here in a couple of days, as well as an extra gig of memory card.

I am going to be so busy starting tommorow, I will barely have time to think.

How's the weather in NY?

Bipolar as usual. Saturday it was in the 60s and gorgeous. Sunday, rainy and 50. Monday, SNOW FLURRIES! Today, sunny and chilly. I never know what to expect when I wake up!

Oh stink! I so hate to lose! And, yes, it definitely was a contest! But, wait...I have to pack for 5 of us (well 4 if you don't count Jeff, but I'm sure he'll require some assistance!). Totally not a fair race! Congrats!

Once upon a time there were a bunch of DISers who were going to the Magic Kingdom in the Month of April. There was Queen Missy & King Jeff, and the 3 princes from NY, and also the Duke of Colorado, Sir Jared, plus a bunch more assorted royalty from Ye Olde Internette.

Soon, they would all be Soarin' on Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Taking a Magic Carpet Ride with Aladdin & Jasmine while Fuzzy Blue Hawaiian Space Aliens Escaped to drink pineapple float Dole Whips, and eat in a Magic Castle with Cinderella, only to be abducted by the Pirates of The Caribbean who takes them on a Jungle Cruise--shortly after which a Little Mermaid helps them get away on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad where they stop off and find refreshment at the Crystal Palace before being whisked into outer space by Buzz Lightyear to defeat the evil emperor Zurg and then being kidnapped by singing forest vermin and being Not So Scared by Snow White's Adventures, and thrown off a Mountain making a big Splash soon after which they have a Mad Hatter's Tea Party, with tea sweetened by Pooh's Hunny, and make Wishes upon a star before going back to their home at the Riverside Port of Orleans on the Sassagoula River where Peter Pan leads them to Never Neverland, where they dream of a Great Big Beautiful Tommorow and find out its a small world after all.



One day, they awoke from their royal slumber to discover that...












WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!!!!
