Your little guy has been through a lot. His wish trip is going to be great! We will be there around the same time as you. I have a nephew named Perrin. Can't wait to read more about your plans and your trip!![]()
So everyone talking about pick a pearl in Japan at Epcot got me thinking!Since my baby girl and I are outnumbered by all these guys, we should do something "girly" for us girls!!
So I talked about it with Mason and although he couldn't see the appeal
he said it would be a good idea to have a souvenir for us girls to have from WDW and in the name of saving money (Yes, I know; Once in a lifetime trip, don't worry about money! I can't help it!! LOL) I found some BEAUTIFUL cage settings for the pearls on ebay. A Cinderella's carriage on for my princess and either a coral one or a butterfly one for me!

So excited! She will be too! I must remind her (per what I have read) to pick the smallest, ugliest, hairiest oyster in the tank.
We LOVED doing Pick A Pearl on a previous trip!! I too bought the carriage holder off of ebay. And yes, pick the ugliest oyster. I picked one that was tucked up under a piece of rock up close to the front of the tank and got twin black ones. They are so beautiful. At Japan they do a little ceremony opening it. So much fun.![]()
Love the settings. Jason did pick a pearl at Sea World I think I am going to let both girls do it there this time. Off to check out Ebay![]()

I lOVE that cinderella carriage!! how much does it cost to pick a pearl - anyone know?
Thanks! Perrin wanted "all 4 of them" in the picture but that didn't work!
From what I have read recently it is $19.99 per person plus tax
