Pre-selecting rides for Canadians?

I haven't seen this discussed. I have heard that visitors from some countries (like the UK) won't be able to pre-book rides with the new Genie Multi-pass. Does this apply to Canadian guests to WDW? Can we pre-book rides?

We can book rides. As often happens, Disney doesn't consider us International; we're just part of the U.S., right?! Lol! It benefits us, so I'm not complaining

We booked all of our Lightning Lanes on July 24th from home, with no issues and arrived at WDW on the 27th. No issues at all.
