Pre MYW Ticket Question

I just read the ticket sticky and wanted to make sure I had this right. I was just chatting with a friend who went with his son back in 2003 (pre MYW). He said he had 5 day hoppers but only used 4 days. I told him, that his last day is still good because the pre MYW tickets do not expire. He said he thought they expired after one year because they were FL resident tickets (actually just his son's was a FL ticket his was normal).

So the sticky does not mention the FL residents pre MYW tickets in the list of exceptions to the "non expiring" rule but I just want to make sure before I tell him both tickets still have a day on them.

If someone could confirm, that would be great. Thanks!!

I have never heard of a problem for the Florida Resident tickets. About the only way to check is doing a scan of the ticket at a ticket window or Guest Relations Office or run it through a turnstile to check the result.

If you are quite sure you did not use up all the days, then almost surely the remaining day(s) are still valid.

But it behooves you not to actually use (or try to use, or test in a turnstile for) the last day during a three plus day vacation, since you will save only three dollars per day off of your ticket budget compared with adding another day to the new ticket you just bought to cover the whole vacation.

Thanks for the info. He has family down there and was planning to just go for one day when he visits his family.
