Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers.

Dan went this morning and they took a lot of the burned skin off his arm. He said it was quite painful. He has been resting all day from it. He sees the doctor again on Friday where they will do the procedure on his chest. The pain meds they are giving him really aren't helping. I know he is tough but he is hurting.

My son is always very careful when working on cars and trucks and this freak accident has shaken up a lot of people where he works.

You're all in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure he's in a lot of pain. They make morphine in a transdermal patch now, he should talk to his doctor about that.

Oh my goodness! Ijust saw this post. I do hope he continues to improve and I'm very gald it wasn't any worse. Some cool, healing, pixie dust is being sent!

poor thing i can't even imagine the pain he is going through or you as a mother knowing he is suffering. prayers sent.......why it happened well, it was a freak accident they happen, that is why they aren't called purposes.

Thank you everyone for your healing thoughts and prayers. He went back to work on light duty this week. The doctor is very pleased with his progress. He may have a few scars but they will be on his arms and chest. His face is healing nicely. He still can't get his arm straight but the Dr. said once the new skin comes in it will take time.

I am so proud of my son for how he has handled all this. I am finally starting to relax when I see how well he is healing.

Sounds like a lot of good news! I'm so happy for him. I'm glad he was able to go back light duty, that's got to be mentally a good thing for him!
